The funny thing about the handling model is that the F2 cars feel fantastic. They feel very close to the Super Formula car in iRacing, which makes me think there might be something wrong with some of the parameters in the F1 car setup rather than the underlying physics model. It's very bizarre.

the people that made the banger wrc game released this past october should be in charge of the F1 games from now on cause they nailed it top to bottom for a licensed racing title

Can you remember the Codies good old days when you didn’t have to be directly involved with an incident for AI to have an incident? That’s one thing that Codemasters had actually nailed, in all the years since TOCA, right through to Grid (yeah I know Grid isn’t a sim but you see where I’m coming from: it was randomness that made a MASSIVE difference)

Handling should be handling. Full stop. Physics is physics.

I keep posting this on the F1 Instagram page but EA keeps deleting it for spreading “misinformation and trying to change people’s minds without evidence” if you create an F1 team there no longer are emblems to choose from.. if you want an emblem you now have to pay for it…. Think about that….. always hundreds of free emblems now cost money….. No liveries at all to create, no content.. I can’t believe I spent money on this.

I love pointy cars, oversteer is what I like but comon, how tf do I turn just 20% and is 90 degrees turned lmao. if they reduce the pointiness by a bit I would enjoy it, however they might do that(Im not a genius) I personally feel like the singleplayer aspect would be much more enjoyable. But thats just me.

Unfortunately, I can't even get the game to start on Steam. I was looking forward to playing and thinking about giving it a few days for a patch, but I might just hit the refund button.

The handling isn't that bad, except for areas like the start of the Japanese gp. It's a nice little challenge to become 1st.

Handling yeah its bad. But tyre wear is absolutely MENTAL the mediums are literally useless, on a 35 percent race I legit got 7 laps and i was at 65 percent wear

why e-sports racers? why not real f1 drivers?

I personally find braking so much weirder than f123. F123 was way more realistic under braking, but in 24 I just lock up in every corner no matter how I trail brake or how hard I brake. It locks up no matter what and braking just feels so sensitive

Its so obvious that gaming companies using wrong people nowdays , they only focus on microtransactions than to create what gamers actually want. They improved the handling so much from 22-23 then they choose for no damn reason to destroy it this year. We seen it in mostly all EA games they are a disaster to whatever they touch... If no other company gets into the official licences of f1 cars and tracks we are doomed to amateurs developers playing with our nerves and money every year. They had a really big feedback from Alpha that the game was going in a wrong direction! Everybody noticed the handling broblem from the first second. Delay the release and fix it , why should we wish for an update after some weeks or months. Many will stay on f1 2023 (probably until 2025 release)

Content creators bitching is just them fearing for their relevance. It's a new game, get used to the new handling model, puts hairs on your chest.

In my opinion, the physics of F1 2022 were the best in F1.... I calmly controlled using Dulshok ps4 and calmly controlled using Fanatec csl dd pro... Perfect physics, perfect graphics... But this game was in development before EA bought Codmasters... Today F1 2024 is just an ordinary arcade game, road grip is very reminiscent of Grid 2 and Grid Legends... Also, starting from F1 2024 you can do WTF drift... That is, in fact, they are trying to make F1 Grid Legends... I mean that now the developer is completely aimed at the buyer with a Dualsens ps5 and XBOX one controller... And for this you need to make the physics as arcade-style as possible in the style of Grid 2 or Grid Legends.. You know GRID AUTOSPORT was in physics better than both of these games... This is what we see today, a recognition that the physics of F1 2022 was the best despite the fact that it was more complex with a focus on Simulations.....

This handling model almost looks like it’s trackmania with that crazy steering😂
