Change is inevitable, and every generation brings something new to the table. Resenting the generations that come after you won’t stop the world from evolving. It’s clear that kindness isn’t something you prioritise, and that’s unfortunate. We could all benefit from showing a little more of it.

Oh, and just to address your concern about my ability to maintain relationships: I’m marrying my partner of 6 years next month, surrounded by my closest friends and family. My best friends from school-who’ve been by my side for over a decade-will be there, along with friends from my early 20s. I may keep my circle small, but it’s filled with strong, lasting connections.

We’ve (my generation) grown up in a world where financial security isn’t guaranteed (at least 4 major financial disasters in my lifetime), so we’re taking the opportunity to carve out our own paths. While the landscape might change, the skills we’re developing-like digital marketing, branding, and entrepreneurship-are here to stay. We’re not just making money; we’re building businesses, communities, and futures. Thanks for the concern, though! I'm definitely thinking long-term 😊
