Good video. I have stayed at the Hotel +80? night. Room facing south are the best. 2804 is a good choice, try room 3302 or 3304 next time, then you have excecutive lounge access👍.
JAL Business Class BKK-HND infinitely forgettable. Arrival at HND for a foreigner has no Priority at Immigration. 45 minutes to 1 hour queue, further queue to clear customs "Visit Japan" app a complete waste of time. Return flight, old plane, deteriorating cabin, full of dust. Quality of food on both sectors seriously deteriorated from pre pandemic flights. Sakura Lounge at BKK has no breakfast foods at 8.00 am. Lounge at HND is full, and poorly catered. Just not worth the USD3,000 plus airfare.

I love Westin hotels chain, but this one need more care maybe because of the "plandemic" hopefully they refurbished it by now.
Iconic NYC hotel. Love that view of McK.M.& W’s beautiful University Club Building. My uncle stayed there many years ago, there used to be a great restaurant called the Oak Room, long gone unfortunately.

I was thinking of going but the furniture and decor looks tired and old. The beds and mattresses probably haven’t been changed in 10 years the bed cushions on the beach beds look worn out. I hear they are beginning to do a soft refurbish
Hotel looks utterly OLD, like 50 years old; how do they charge those insane prices I cannot comprehend. It is a £70/night place - not £700/night

Just tried today the QSuite from Milan to Doha. But instead of Alexandra they had the Taittinger Rosè, which I like very much but I would like to taste the cuveè Alexandra, hope next year maybe.

How much you rate the hotel?
The room rate is up and down depending on the season between 75 - 110 USD per night. It can be higher or lower than I mention. You can check exact price on IHG website.
Looks like a good place to stay on a last night before heading to the airport given proximity. Would you recommend a couple of nights minimum here if planning to stay in another part of Phuket for the first leg or would one night be enough? Which from your experience, would be the top two resorts in Phuket that you stayed in?
I think one night is not enough there are many things to do. Based on my experience, I love InterContinental Phuket. This hotel offers very great service, good food and beautiful landscape. Second choice for me would be Rosewood Phuket.
COVID-19 is gradually easing, I can taravel anywhere again.

What time of the year was this recorded? Is tup kaek beach good for swimming?
If you want to see the real beauty of the beach in Krabi, I suggest you to come during November to April. It will be the high season of Krabi. Chance of rain will be low.

I plan to Krabi at october, how is the weather in this time?
The high season in Krabi is around November to March. In October it will have some rain falls.
used to be the top of pattaya's hotels, but now the ANDAZ comes...

How much time it takes from one island to another is it a bumpy ride or some chance of sickness?
I started my trip from 10 AM and it ended at 3 PM. Bumpy ride or not it depends on how big of the wave on the day you travel. If you go on the nice weather, it is quite smooth ride. You can also take sea sickness tablets ahead.

So they allow you to eat at and shower at the Narita first class lounge even if Tokyo is your last stop?
Tokyo was not my last stop. I went further to Bangkok with business class. They did allow me to use the first class lounge because my first leg was first class.
Worst valet experience for this hotel
Oh I am so sorry to hear that. For me, the staffs here are amazing.
Interesting, as this hotel is well managed but seldom reviewed. F&B are great! Sister hotel in Chiang Mai is unique and a must see if you visit the city. 😀
One weak point of this hotel is the location. It is not easy to get to the hotel by skytrain. By the way, I was in 137 Pillars in Chiang Mai last year and I love the vibe there.
@@mydnatraveller7002 They run a shuttle service by London Taxi, a purple one, to the skytrain and local malls, but this area is extremely busy and streets are narrow.
Not only that, you can also take a motorbike if you want to skip traffic and don't mind the heat. It's 15-20 THB from BTS to the place and will be much, much faster than any car. Stayed there for more than a month, wonderful & severely underrated place!

You are right! The location is also great if you plan to roam around Bangkok by public transportation. In addition, Italian food at Rossini restaurant is awesome.
