The hand bouncing and the gran gestures and exaggerated movement is something only Liberace would do. The traditional classical pianists would not showboat in that manner. Which is why Liberace went in the pop music direction.
Ignoring all the sham and glitz with which he surrounded himself, Liberace was one of the finest pianists ever. Any idea how hard it is to perform classical piano with no sheet music? Liberace does it with grace and skill. I will always admire Liberace.

The only thing people cannot forgive is succes...he was put down because of his showmanship, but it helped make him famous. But then, of course, you're a sell out, not that good anyway and more such nonsense. Fact is, the man was a brilliant pianist.
