Wow This is cool. I was curious about the Carnival of Venice so I did some research and was brought to here. I was looking for the "Carnival of Venice" during the 17th and 18th Centuries, about 1780s specifically during the age of reasoning. I would like to see this someday.

Infatti io ho visto che gli imprenditori ci portano soprattutto i pezzenti, i barboni e gli appestati per dare anche a loro una ...nuova vita e un sogno. Ma poi ci va anche il diavolo? Ebbene si, il diavolo ci va anche esso. E ci fa perche' e' una carnescialata che muove anche dalla cattiveria e dall'invidia. Soprattutto l'invidia. Quindi il diavolo ci va anche lui al ballo.

The whole event just seems so amazing to me. Its so elegant and beautiful, the masks, the drama, the scenarios and the shows. Its a whole dream to be there one day and see all those beautiful and elaborated costumes. I personally feel that if I ever have the opportunity to go, it would be an experience out of this world, ethreal.
