Hi! My name is Jinhao and I'm an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto studying mathematics and education.
I've used CZcams and other resources throughout my undergraduate courses extensively but did notice that some concepts and topics weren't explained as well or there was a shortage in thorough videos, so I hope to bridge that gap through my CZcams channel.
Feel free to reach out and connect if you have any questions about anything! Doesn't necessarily have to be math related 😄

UofT MAT401 Summer 2018 Final Exam Solutions Take Up
In this video, I go over the MAT401 final exam from Summer 2018 at the University of Toronto St. George Campus (UofT). When the course is instructed by Jonathan Korman is very straightforward for the most part; you can expect roughly 8 questions, 7 of which will be of easy to medium difficulty and 1 more difficult question. While there usually is an autofail policy built into the course (need to pass final exam to pass entire course), you will be completely fine as long as you go to lectures and thoroughly work through the assigned homework/problem set questions. As always, I recommend attempting the exam using the blank copy and referring to any solutions after if you are preparing for the final exam.

In this video I go over the practice final exam from 2022-2023 MAT235 at the University of Toronto St. George Campus (UofT). This practice final exam was very representative of the difficulty, style, and structure of the actual final exam, which was a pleasant surprise to say the least. If you are preparing for a final exam of your own (for MAT235 or any other math-related course), I highly rec...

In this video I go over the fourth term test from 2022-2023 MAT235 at the University of Toronto St. George Campus (UofT). I, like many others, performed much better on this term test due to the length being shorter and the difficulty of the questions being easier. As always, I've included PDFs of my written solutions as well as a blank copy of the term test in case you do want to attempt it bef...

...so this is like higher algebra? i know a bit of linear algebra(basics) but nothing from this video lol
this is galois theory
How you the the lamda2?
To find the eigenvalues (lambda), simply subtract lambda from the identity Matrix, and solve for the determinant of the matrix: (Example): |7-lambda 2| |4 3-lambda| By doing this you most likely will be given a quadratic equation: such as (lambda)^2+lambda-2 (note: this example does not relate to the example above). By factoring this example, we get: (lambda+2)(lambda-1). Which gives us: lambda(sub1)=-2 and lambda(sub2)=-1. These are your eigenvalues that can be used to solve for the eigenvector.
Awesome lesson. Very clean and easy to follow narration 10/10
got the final on Monday and was totally lost on this technique until now. Thank you!
Really helpful. Thank you
If you have something for MAT 334 please let us know
I haven't quite taken MAT334 yet unfortunately! I will of course post anything I have after I take it
Thank you so much
thank you so much i was searching for this question
good job thanks
thank you! I have a final next week you're saving me!
a bit confused at 32:52. didn't you write x0 * fx (x-x0) + y0 * fy (y-y0) ... instead of just fx (x-x0) + fy (y-y0)
спасибо! полезно!
Does this calculate the basis?
Your voice is so nice and soothing and this video is so straightforward. Thank you so much! 🙏
Loved your detailed explanation as I searched for a breakdown of a question I wasn’t sure of while studying for my exam! Thanks!!

How can I convert back sir ?
Very helpful
Thank you so much bro
HE IS THE GOAT👏Niu Bi
Thanks for making this
This is exactly what I needed! Thank you so much this was short sweet to the point! Made it very easy to understand and quickly too. Thank you so much 🙏
nice video broooo
Hi, do you have the practice test for term test 1? Can you upload it and the solutions on your drive or youtube channel?
hi! MAT235 this semester is run a little differently, so this past test and any other ones likely cover different topics. I believe Prof. Kawach is still the coordinator and he usually posts practice tests meant to prepare students for the current MAT235 term tests, so your best bet is to go with those

BRO I LOVE U KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK LITERAL GODSEND EVERYTHING IS STRAIGHT TO DA POINT IM TAKING 235 THIS SUMMER GOT THE FINAL IN 8 DAYS (from another math major)⭐
I love you too duck2330 😌 So glad you're finding the videos helpful, and best of luck on the final!

I think I will never forget the formula now
Thanks Mr.X!
Great video!
Thnx

Great video!
Could you please cover Calculus 1 application of integrals, specifically volumes by discs, shells etc
I most certainly can! I’ll need to brush up a bit on Calc one content, but stay on the lookout!
i love chain rule!!
i bet you do 😇
Hey thanks man, this really helped for physics too!
