I miss this band! One of my all-time favorites! Killer bass player and drummer!!! And the guitars! Wow!!! Lead Vox are unmatched in my opinion! Really need to re-unite! I really hope one of these didn’t pass away or something. I would feel horrible for suggesting they get back together. Never say never! Black Sabbath did it!

what is most amazing to me is how is how this artist is able to control his tone so efficiently by just playing with his volume and coil splitting. yes its a common thing to do nothing new but his clean is super clean almost springy and his over drive tone is just massive like as in Tony iommi massive and that to my ears is super impressive. plugged into a dimed laney head no tap dancing on pedals. thats a sweet setup

That bassist is Pat Brown (Pat Schmaljohn) his brother is Scott Schmaljohn is the other other guitarist/singer in Treepeople. To me these two are legends. They were both previously in the hardcore band State of Confusion (SOC). The song "Pat" on There Is No Enemy is about Pat Brown. Coincidentally SOC had a song called "Doug" about Doug Martsch.
