I'm not sure how the ones form the 90's compare. But I had a late 80's Korean made Sheraton and it was definitely better made than a 2010 Chinese made a band mate had. Felt more solid, craftsmanship was clearly better and pickups were about the same sound. But of course, there is always guitars made on a Friday afternoon, which your white one seems to be. I regret selling the Korean one. Hard to find a better value for your money if you want a 335 type.
I agree with the Friday night scenario, haha! my Maple Chinese one from 2005 was perfect and the pickups were the "HOTCH" marked ones which sounded killer clean or with Van Halen ish chunk! Even with the '97 Korean Shortcomings I kept it and sold the Maple one and I still love it! it seems to have more soul to it, especially since it came from Maui and the wet, salty air ruined the hardware and the glue holding the pickup covers on. not soldered back then i guess.
Pretty good. But you’re no Daisy!😎
Oh man!I got an epiphone sheraton 2,2004 build, blonde! And it is such a great Guitar! No mistakes or fails you discripe here!neeneenee!Sometimes you got luck, sometimes not!But in your case i would say ;;get the right parts do a normal setting and fly up!
If you research various forums the general consensus is that the Korean made Sheratons are higher quality than MIC. Of course there may be exceptions but the popular vote is MIK
Drinks are on me throws money
In pacem requiescat.
Love that scene Michael was good at it so was Val with cup
I don't know how I found myself here 9 years after this video was posted, but I'm glad I found it... this was badass, well done sir
I actually didn't have the correct routine down yet for the live shows but my second vid breaks it down much better, and thanks, buuuuuuuuuddy!!!
Say when... 😜
Very good, bravo.
Sounds like it could be a plastic version of a Colt. They are light as a feather and easy to spin. And if you drop it, the prop dept has plenty more on hand.
This is actually a functioning pop metal gun from Hollywood Armoury I believe. It weighs the same as the real one, very well balanced!
Barney Fife has met his match.
Nice and lively, good cover guys!
Buenísimo.
Fantastic! Great job
Isn’t that a daisy.
When you first start trying these spins do you put down a pad or anything so if you drop the gun you don’t damage it?
Haha, well there is a bit of a story with that. 50/50, after gettin a little cocky thinkin i got it then droppin it on the tile? Ouch! That's when i got the fake one with good working action and close in weight and put matching ivory grips on both. I went through a few sets of grips so i wound up scotch taping the broken ones together the lsat time on the spin gun. I still needed the real .45 to fire the one blank into the ground at the end of the show. If i did it all over i would stay over the bed or couch or at least carpet. Oh, and plenty of baby powder on the spin finger, learned the hard way with a big blister
Reputedly MB had been a juggler, which may have been a factor in his eye-watering gun spinning. Anyway, he's THE huckleberry!
Well, juggling would definitely be an asset in a gunfight! It can be very disorienting to the opponent! :😁
🤣🤣🤣✋🙏🇮🇩
It's not hard to imagine why actors and staff might get shot by negligent discharge.
Is that you, Alec?
Not if there aren't live rounds on set, how they made that mistake on Rust is beyond me.
Can he do it with a tin cup though.
rock on man wtg
nice!
Disgrace how you treat the US FLAG 🇺🇸
Adge quar ageis
Ok, I liked it!! RIP EM.
Haha, thanks! I have a crapload of vids in storage on my youtube and decided to just put em up there, what the heck, eh
Shit yeah dudes! This freaking slays. Keeping the torch burning. Slayed this!!
I dig it from The midwest
GREAT stuff!!
Given his father blew his own head off via shotgun accident, and young Ringo witnessed it, you'd think he'd refrain from hand fanning.
Well, ya gotta remember, the desert is hot and Ringo was probably fanning his Colt to create a breeze to keep himself cool!
bro love your review. hope u are still doing it. i saw an older post.
I still have the white Korean one ! The reason for the vids was to point out that between chinese and Korean, one isn't better than the other. I had both and despite the Korean's bridge flaw and the salt water climate that ruined a lot of parts on it, they both played and sounded the same!
Awesome
Just lovely . More thumb ups deserves
Im practicing myself with my crosman vigilnate lol
Haha, well, Sammy Davis jr did a killer spin routine on a colt with a 10" barrel!!! He didn't care, nuthin phased that guy!
That was on The Rifleman
But can you do it with a silver drinking vessel
No, but Doc can! He ALWAYS shows me up! What a mocking bastard!
Really enjoying this. First time. Soooo reelaxing ! Subbd. Thankyou.
You're welcome my friend!
I have a Korean one and it is the best an nicest guitar I have ever played!
I still have this white one after all these years, I love it and I'll probably never sell it, haha! I think a lot of people missed the mark on why I made this vid, it wasn't to put down the Korean guitars, it was to show that the Chinese versions were great guitars as well. Unfortunately this white one had issues I had to deal with but I've had many Korean guitars and they are KILLER!
Your no daisy, your no daisy at all!!
Awesome! 👍👍👍
🙌
ROCKIN!!! And, man, I love that solo!
good job but you found yourself in the ROLE of Johnny Ringo and not the ROLL .. otherwise you'd be in a sandwich ...
Holy smoke! Bad editing, it's been so long and didn't even notice, musta been in a hurry er sumthin, thanks!
Done! Not that there's anything wrong with bein in a sandwich!
@@renole2005 It's actually spelled Being .....
Go Doug!
Why Johnny Ringo. Looks like someone walked over your grave. You're a daisy if you do. Well done bro, seriously. You got the moves, you got the 'stache. Legend in the making.
Great video comparison, interestingly I've got the exact same Blonde Epiphone Made in China although made in 2008, I bought it back then because it was cheap including an Epi case and sounded fantastic. I mean I was cross comparing it against Gibson 335's $5000 and up 😮 in the same shop & amp and went for it, value for money outstanding.🎉 The fit and finish is pretty much flawless like yours especially the binding. All these years later I still have and it plays like a dream. Thanks for posting, cheers from Australia 🦘🌏🎵🎸😎
"I'm your huckleberry."
Say when!
Just noticed the Stryper poster. :-)
Haha, I've had that since like 1987, been a fan since 1984 er so........
What gun are you spinning ?
I believe the one in the video is my throw gun from Hollywood Armoury, Made in Spain, all moving parts function. The weight is roughly the same as my Ruger Vaquero that I also use but the weight is more centered on the throw gun, easier.
Holy Good Lord you have talent my man, whoa, mindblowing. I also find you have a cool personality, like you're different, in a good way. Doug, would you honor me and watch MY gunspin? I innovated one with a pistol instead of a revolver, you know, to try something different. Would you check mine out? It's called " Insane pistol gun spinning, Alan "Ascot" McDonell, from Montreal QC Canada", on CZcams. Can you give me your honest opinion? I'm new at this, I did my best... I would really like if you checked mine out. Sincere salutations cowboy! 2 thumbs way up, you've got some serious talent.
