What is your camera? it is still the old DJI Pocket 2 from 2-3 years ago?

You must have been using your phone for this as I have considered doing this many times over but have been fearful I would get told off by the security. I use a GO PRO Camera, so it would be more noticeable. Not sure if it would be OK to record this way or not. By the way; for my taste, I much preferred the old school look of this place. They so called "renovated" the place, and in the process stripped ALL, of the character and charm from it, as they do with everything these days. Yes, it's larger, but it's a drab, dead, empty, shell of a place compared to how it used to look. So very longing for this damn, tasteless, minimalist, crap to die once and for all, as it's killing everything, everything. Out.

Wow 😊 Finally found the video where no one is talking! One urgent question: can you pretty much put your small tent anywhere if you politely ask people? I'm thinking to start at the western portion, then go offtrail and walk the 700 kms or so of Port au Port...then go back on it till St-John... Thank you for your quick reply... Gilles

I have great memories of going to this mall when I was a child/teenager, and even meeting up with my girlfriend there in my late 20s. This place used to be such a center of activity, and a great alternative to those who didn't like the Avalon Mall or found that harder to get to. It really is sad to see it in this condition, and I believe some of the stores that were there in '21 are gone now as well - Crescent jewellers, for one. I don't know if it was Walmart and Sears pulling out or maybe something else occurred (lease was too expensive?) or a combination of a bunch of things, but the smaller stores aren't going to keep this afloat indefinitely. I can see it turning into what the Mount Pearl Square (it'll always be Sobeys Square to me!) location has - office space. Thank you for doing this. I wish someone had had the foresight to do a walk-thru back in the late '80s or early '90s when it was still a busy place.

So pristine and civilized. A reflection of those who visit and call NFLD home. Compared to many international airports in America this is Utopia.

I just watched your walk in St. John's Nfld. I keep watching it. I think that we are of like minds. This walk is plain and ordinary and that is the great virtue of it. When I went there for the first time last year I spent a lot of my time without destination. Just turn down any ordinary street that drew me. I just subscribed. What you do is perfect for me. Please keep it up.

Sherbourne, one of the grand old streets of Toronto. Still a substantial number of old mansions and houses standing. Excellent walk.

what are the blacks doing there? Why are Canadian women so scary?

I remember where Dollarama was it was Woolco, 2 floors, where AR Rosy is used to be Sears, also for those that don’t know or remember the top floor of Sears collapsed one winter
