Longines Conquest VHP36 ..... is it good enough?
This time piece is underrated and it deserves appreciation from anyone who is looking for everyday time piece. A quartz movement with high accuracy and perpetual calendar function that gives a peace of mind on the wearer.

Tudor Black Bay 36 is a boring time piece

3 years after the purchase, this watch is a real keeper in my collection. Perfect for my small wrist and stands out among my 36mm size watches. With all the scratches it earned tells the story of the watch with the owner and yet it still look good to wear on any occasion.

A year after owning Tudor Black Bay 58 blue

Honest review after one year ownership of this watch. How does it stand up with my other dive pieces. See all the scratches and dents it got after almost daily wear. How I feel about it and what makes this watch a keeper in my collection
SEIKO PROSPEX The 1959 Alpinist Re-creation
zhlédnutí 49KPřed rokem
Unboxing and honest review of this lovely time keeping piece. It was in 1959 that Seiko’s first Alpinist watch was introduced to meet the needs of mountain climbers and recreational field sports enthusiasts. From the start, it was well received and, over the ensuing decades, its reputation spread far beyond the Japanese market for which it was first intended.

Finished in a multi piece Stainless Steel case and a brown Cervo Volante leather strap. The Big Crown Cervo Volante features a 38mm case. The Oris x Cervo Volante collaboration begins with three Big Crown Pointer Date watches. Each has a gradient dial inspired by Alpine hues and a strap made of sustainable deer leather. They come with a pouch and a card holder made of the same material. A reviv...

Which size of Longine master 40 or 34😊
What’s your wrist size?
Beautiful. But the strap looks cheap leather
BF clasp makes no sense on this. Otherwise really nice. All that brushed steel is refreshing to see.
super nice!
Great video. The comparisons with other watch sizes was very helpful. My wrist size is 7.25”, which isn’t exactly small, but I am getting on the small watch train. This gave me more confidence that the 36mm Oris won’t be too small for me.
lug width? 18 or 20?
18mm
Great video. I just picked one up and appreciate the information. Why did you stop making videos?
Why this "music"? Skip it
Yes Ruined by the music
Stunning (GS) and now I want both black and white versions. I would love to see the white with gilt dial too..
both are really nice watch
Appreciated review of a somewhat elusive timepiece rarely seen in the wild. Have heard many complaints about the lack of Alpinist logo on dial, but it’s still a great mid century design and something that could make a great travel watch. Few might notice it except for the educated wearer and those who know.
Most of the reviews are talking about the blue one with all reporting its their preferred version... I think the green version is much underrated, for me clearly the most beautiful one, confirmed watching your video, thank you! Also, agree that the black strap is matching very well, making it even more a dress watch... but I do not wear dress watches and for me it is much more casual with the clear dear strap just like you say.
Totally agree 💯👍🏼 You have a good taste in watches. I saw it today at a store, and i think i will go for it. Greetings from Greece my friend
I love the Blue dial but I feel the green one allows more versatility while still having a little pop of colour. A happy medium between the zingy light blue dial and the muted grey dial.
You can't change the date on this one, right?
wow superb... i have the walderburgerbahn limited ... excellent watch!
I bought one of these last year shortly before the whole line was discontinued. Considering how short a run the VHP series had, and this 36mm version in particular, I suspect this may be collectible in the future. I agree with it having an Explorer vibe. It's a good no nonsense everyday type watch, and packs a lot aesthetically and functionally for the price.

Nice! How does it wear on wrist? Some say it’s too small.
Hi, can I go for the GMT version? The software, if not supported in future on any phones, will not be a problem to change times on the watch, right, as the crown will do the job? I'm attracted to the GMT more as I think it makes the best use of this movement! Please help me with info!
Fitting to a man’s wrist as well?
Do not change the date with the hour hand on that side of the dial. The safest way to set the date is to wind the hands around past midnight and bring the hour hand down to around at least the 4 am mark.
@@ronvalentine3578 Oh really. I used to sell Oris and reviewed them. I also have a solid knowledge of watch movements. I would say that your comment is the dumbest I have read all day. How do you back up such a stupid reply to a simple warning about not damaging the date change mechanism.
Is this not on sale now?
does the bracelet have half links?
Yes
Is this a dutch accent ?
Met Sore Happy Saturday Weekend WOW ini Jam Tangan Paling Bagus iniKalau gak Salah Super Wact
Mohon Maaf boleh Tanya Harganya Sampai berapa? Ya.
Saya melihat di pakai di Tangan Sangat Anggun Dan Pas Saya melihat di Vedeonya SUCSES
Are these limited edition or are they regular stock?
It uses a basic off-the-shelf Sellita SW200-1 without any regulation or decoration with a red rotor slapped on.. That's a rip-off for the asking price. It should at least be elabore grade. For what it's worth, it uses a standard caseback, so regulating it DYI style shouldn't be a problem.
May I know your wrist size
How's it holding up? Bet it gets a lot of attention!
Love the size of this! Almost perfect. How's it holding up? Bet it gets a lot of attention!
Dang that seiko tuna is beautiful
I am happy owner of a blue dial 36mm...I love it. For years I though I wanted a rolex explorer...until then, I am absolutely enjoying this!
No one wants a new one that I have for sale😮
I lusted after this watch when I was in college and when the time came that I had enough money to buy it, the AD near me was sold out. Really unfortunate, I’m hoping to get see this somewhere someday for a good price.
Still have it? How is it holding up? Your wrist circumference? I'm on the fence between 36 or 40mm since I have 6.5inch or 16.5cm wrist if I measure tight with the tape..the width around 50mm but that depends how or until where you measure I guess? Thanks for the advice
Yup still have it and its a keeper for me and enjoying a lot specially with different type straps that makes the piece versatile. My wrist size is about 52.5mm diameter so 36mm watch is a sweet spot for me
What is the circumference of your wrist? (cm)
Which height has the vhp36mm?
Great video! Do you think it’s discontinued status will make it harder to repair in the future?
I don’t think so because there’s the entire VHP line just on a different casing. Only thing is that would think twice to a regular watch repair if there’s something wrong. Best is to send it back to your local AD. But for battery replacements either you can do it yourself or just regular watch repair shop as the entire movement is securely enclosed like the Grand Seiko 9F movement
@@OverwindWatch what other models have the VHP movement? Can you please provide more info?
That's cool that you removed the back side. One question, Is battery replaceble by any watch service or knowledgeble person or has to go to Longines for each battery replacement? I just subscribed! cool effort!
I have done the battery replacement myself a month ago, so long as you have the precision screw drivers and watch case opener and watch Tweezers you will be fine. And make sure you got the right size for the new battery.
@@OverwindWatch Many thanks! I would just use a local watch service to let them change the battery. I don't have a kit of openning the back side.
It's fairly straight forward. You just unscrew the case back and then remove two 0.4 screws from the battery cover. The battery change has to be completed within 24 hours of the battery removal to maintain the perpetual calendar. There is a really good guide by 'DavidM' on the HAQ VHP Watchuseek sub forum. Just make sure you have the right screw driver and use something none conductive (like plastic tweezers) when handling the Renata380 SR936w battery.
Fantastic video. Might pull the trigger on this exact same watch when I have the funds :)
Este es el mejor reloj que a construido Tudor this is the best watch Tudor build
Nice
I own mine, and I love mine and it co-exists with my Oris Diver 65 36mm. I love everything about the BB36, but not a fan of the size of the clasp. I feel like it is too big for the watch. I wish it is a tad bit smaller and tapered more
zzzzzzzzzzz......
I own one, and I absolutely love it. I have a small wrist, and for many years wore a Seiko 5, so I prefer a smaller watch. It looks right on my wrist. I love the quality - the build and finish is impeccable - especially the bracelet and clasp. The only downside is that the clasp can attract scratches - but it’s nothing that can’t be sorted out with some fine Scotchbrite. The only watch I think I’d replace this with is a 36mm Explorer.
Snowflake hands ? No go.
Does it glow in the dark?
Lume on hands only but pretty useless, but since markers and hands are highly polished the reflection helps a lot reading the time under low light condition
I wish GS will put display caseback on all of the Quartz pieces not just the limited edition models.
Had my BB58 blue since release (sold the OG to buy it) and can honestly say I love it even more now than when I first got it.
What made you choose the blue over the black? I am on the fence on this! Blue is readily available, black isnt !
@EL LL I just like blue watches. Plus I also associate Tudor with the blue sub. Less "Rolex" I guess.
