A half inch ratchet and socket would make that easier to get on and off without the need for the hammer. Have more leverage. General rule for tightening bolts is snug then quarter to half turn. For aluminum threaded parts I always use a 3/8 ratchet and socket. To prevent causing damage. Very thorough video.

One you thing you didnt mention or really talk about was since that this is a DX camera and lens, therefore its a cropped sensor. Shooting the 35mm is similar to shooting a 50mm (52.5mm to be exact) on a full frame camera. So does that mean all the shots you took on the 35mm in this video will look similar to a 50mm on a full frame?

The muppet presenting this video does not mention that with the D3200 or D3300 body the standard 50mm (which is for full frame Nikon cameras - FX mount) becomes a longer focal length. The D 3*** range are DX mounts and cropped sensor. So the 50mm FX lens is probably closer to 70 to 80mm on a DX body.

    • @RealWorld

    • @RealWorld
