Thing is, you have to be flexible when it comes to what products you use and what brands. I ended up spending more money on stuff I didnt really need or want to use because I had a coupon for it. In the end, It was just cheaper for me to find sales, or compare store pricing on stuff I used and wanted then couponing ever was- but thatsjust my experience

as a CVS manager, we are so affordable especially because of the easy accessibility to coupons. the app makes everything easier because we are a stacking store when it comes to coupons (you can use manufacturing and store coupons in one purchase), and you get money back for everything you buy. when you guys complain about the “scarf” of coupons, you’re typically getting money off whatever deals you bought from and it customizes more towards the products you buy.

My time is too valuable to hunt for needle in a haystack bargains in among all the scam pricing nowadays

I used to get so embarrassed when my mom would whip out coupons. Now, I'm the KING of "loyalty points", member discounts, on line coupons, etc. I haven't paid full price for groceries or gas in YEARS! I wish I had started keeping track of my savings. I'm sure I'd be happy with it.

Honestly this is a skill that takes time to master. I’ve tried and often something goes wrong at register. It’s always one coupon that doesn’t work and the clerk can’t even fix it. Anyone who gets to this point probably put lots of hours into it.
