My favorite anchorage in the Rock Islands. We are nestled in this cove named Egret cove; we saw may herons, white tropic birds, black and brown noddies, King fishers, bats, and heard the songs of Palau Scop Owls while here.

Hi the whole video was Raja AMpat, the mating Blue Ring Octopus was found in Palau Dayang
there is a homestay there with diving services, a dive boat and dive master to take you out

So cool! What was the shallowest area you went through? I imagine the ability to lift the centerboard made this anchorage possible?
Yes, with the centerboard up I was more comfortable but I think about 12 foot was the shallowest

great boat , amazing beaching capabilities, very comfortable , beautiful bathrooms with wood , amazing price also, amazing weight ... i like this boat for beaching , but for atlantic crossing and so one , a real keel is a better choice in case of extreme conditions ..
Except when the keel bolts fail and the boat sinks.

By any chance was that a B&G wind meter. Just replaced mine yesterday - under warranty. Same height too, 67 feet, but I used a repelling harness - I'm too chicken to trust a chair.

We have a lifting centerboard and love it. We ran over something in the Pacific last year enroute to Kodiak and now have a new lifting Centerboard.
