Wedding Videography: How To Start A Business
bro have movie setup for just wedding. overkill for me
Movie setup? I have a camera and a lens on a tripod. 😂
@@CodyScott yeah, but I mean. Some films that are shown in cinema was shot on same cameras that you're using
@@CodyScott great vibe btw in this shot. I'm just broke and complaining about others success. Beautiful work 🙌
So Good!
Thank you 😊 What did you like most?
Most based node tree
Thank you
I go to type, but can’t get the right words. So…wow! Very well done! I like the transition from first kiss to circling them during portrait time.
Your words are beautiful. Thank you for sharing them with me.
I would kill to see you grade this footage, Your video here is what originally sold me on the BMPCC 3 years ago. Ive gotten decent results out of it but I feel like you're doing some true magic. For someone who knows their way around Davinci grading now but just... isn't an artist, who do you like to learn from?
This is the kindest thing I’ve heard today thank you so much. I teach how I color grade in the private Facebook group called videography business mastery. I don’t learn from anybody , because I don’t actually watch CZcams for filmmaking just for cooking videos. So everything I do just do it based on preference
Nice work ...Loved this video! The quality is amazing. Could you share which lens you used? Thanks!
This was the 2470 Mark two
This is awesome. And also the grading aspect is so personal to the feel of the image and the essence of the film. It would be cool to hear you talk a little more broadly about each node and how to build an image you like. Instead of let’s set the values to x or y. Rad presentation. Great work man
Thank you!!! I’ll take this into consideration for the next video 😀😀😀
Hey what’s the location of the shoot and what lens did you chose
Topsail beach. Canon EF 24mm
0:12 pure cinema right there dude. nice work !!!
Right! That was basically one of the only shots I liked in this short video. And maybe the bobble head one was cool.
The video footage quality is so good, hit subscribe and like for that. It's weird that CZcams did not show this video when I was looking for review for this lens. Question, is the flying part also shot with RF 24mm?
Thank you so much much! I have a lot of Sony videos on my channel so anything that is canon related CZcams will not now show it to people. The flying shot is a drone .
@@CodyScott Thank you for sharing.
@0:15 The kiss transition was fire my dude 🔥
Thank you so much!! 😊😊😊😊
First comment haha ! Always a pleasure checking out your content bro☝🏽🔥💯
Thank you!
The colors ❤
Thank you so much!!! This was a new style for me to color. I also liked the way it turned out.
Great videos man! May I know the lut you are using? Is it Utopia?
Thanks man! I use my Solaris luts now. 😊
That is a cool stove you built. Did you make a video of the construction assuming you built it yourself? Love the simplicity and I bet the materials were reasonable compared to a quality grill. Also, steaks looked awesome.
Thank you! BTW Your username is amazing and u unique. Great job. Yes I built it myself and will share more this year, in September. 😊 Total to build was $40
@@CodyScott that is 40 well spent. Very creative.
awesome video what was your F stop when filming this?
also was this 4k 60fps or 4k 30fps?
Thank you! I usually stay around 2.8 and mostly 4K 24fps. If not 24 then 60fps
Great video, it’s exactly the sort of thing I’m looking for to inspire me to make my own videos this way as a wood worker. A breakdown in the process would be a super cool video 👍
This is awesome news! This was a super involved video. I would suggest building a studio setup in your woodshed to make it easier. So, put up lights everywhere that are bluetooth activated.
Do you ever shoot to dual media cards simultaneously with the Sony FX3 for wedding projects?
I don’t. I’ve just purchased the most expensive cards I can find so they won’t fail
@@CodyScott Thanks, Cody!
Some footage from the camera would have been nice :)
Yes
Lovely video, which lenses please ?
Check title
Amazing!
Thank you kind sir. What did you enjoy about it?
The overlay effects, the mist filter and the golden hour. Just came back to review again!
Beautiful scenery looks like a movie
The video turned out very pretty too
Great quality! Do you use LOG in this video? :)
I use log for the Sony FX3, which is what I use now. I did not use log when I shot with Canon. I developed my own picture profiles. Thank you
Wow this is amazing , which lights did you use light this project ?
Thank you. This is the Aperture 120 D
2 good dudes right here…..good stuff👌🏾
Thank you brother!!! What was your biggest takeaway? Also, thoughts on the vertical format?
@@CodyScott2 takeaways stand out for me. The A.I. commentary about its some of the folks behind some of this artificial intelligence that make it scary, not the A.I. itself. And 2, I’m super new to running a business and I’m having a bad habit of trying to do everything myself and I can see myself getting burned out quickly. I have to surround myself with some like minded individuals and get some help asap!!!!! lol. I actually don’t mind the vertical….different, but it works.
@@Ed_Scottthank you for sharing this!!!
Vertical format kinda threw me off when I was watching on iPad, once I realized this was something to listen to like a podcast on my phone it made sense. Love hearing the casual talk of video business and just ins and outs, funny hearing him say that people are scared of contrast lol, also, I’m from Fayetteville NC, and a new video production owner, would love to connect via meetups if you ever do one
the music is unnecessary and unbearable :/
Thank you!
My left ear feels loved.
😊😊🙏
hi how do you set up your white balance? Auto? also for Sharpness, do you mean setting 'Strength' to 0? many thanks!
I use Kelvin for white balance. The sharpness I remove completely so the image looks more natural.
@@CodyScott much appreciated! sorry to bother you one last time regarding the setting for Sharpness - it has three sub settings: Strength, Fineness and threshold, do you mean moving them all the way to the left? I can set Strength to 0, Fitness and threshold to 1 as minimum to the left here. thanks!
Natural daylight BTW😮
Store dose not exist 😢
Hey there! Try again. I had to make a change in the store. =)
What lenses?
Not sure
The site your description doesn't exist anymore :(
Hey brother! It gets activated again in 4 hours. 😊😊
it is not made by National Geogrpahic - have you been living under a rock? Ever heard of National Geographic and what they do?
Who is it made by?
It is made by National Geographic, it’s a collab with Manfrotto
DeLICIOUS!
Thank you
Cody, have you been up to West Jefferson to the sausage place/meat monger? So good!!!
Which gimbal u used
I think this was the RS2
Do you have the final footage? I'm saving up for an FX3 to run the same setup basically.
I do but it’s private The camera is worth it. September it gets an upgrade and I’d image the price may increase a couple bucks.
Nice video. BTW the audio is just on one ear
Thank you!
What an extraordinary video. Wow...
Thank you!
My bad my friend was wanting me to send it to him I don't mean any harm. 2 any one or in any way
👍🏼
I think you're just video editing that's all i seen Huh?
No it’s a gimmick
I can't find this in the menu
Do you have the updated firmware?
Which lens¿😊
Did you watch the entire film? I reviewed the lens at the end
hi Cody, nice review, If you had to choose between the 24rf and the sigma art 1.4 which would you choose and why?
Great question! I would choose the sigma. They make better lenses for commercial work. Which is what I do mostly.
congratulations you guys
Really nice, what lenses did you use?
35 mm canon
I have rf 50mm 1.8 and thinking buying 24mm to add my travel lens. My camera is r10 crop sensor is that good idea?
No, this is not a good idea. I suggest purchasing the new 24-105 f/2.8 IS
@@CodyScott is the 24-105 f4 ok as well? No budget lol
@@CodyScott i think i will wait for sigma 18-50 2.8 now
I recently purchased the fx3 and noticed the pp8 “slog3” picture profile is gone in the new firmware on my camera. So I set my settings to the new slog3 profile they provide, but I noticed the picture profile still has a lot of color in it, and is not exactly flat. Do you know how I can fix this issue?
You can use atomos ninja and shoot Raw. That’s pretty flat.
Dude, you should’ve done a Kickstarter for that cage.
You were totally right! There was a bunch of engagement..
@@CodyScottI believe you can still do it. There’s a huge community for this camera.
