okay so quick question if i am on a mac 10.13.6 high sierra and i'm trying to upgrade to mojave and it says it cannot be installed on this computer, why is that??? edit: found out the issue, my computer is a 2011 which for some reason can't update

over a year now, and still can't figure how to update my high sierra 10.13.6 on appstore it only shows the latest update which "cannot be installed on this computer"... so, anybody? isit one of those things that apple is pushing you to buy a new computer or something? my imac is from 2016...
