BMW S1000RR (2009-2014) Review and Walkaround
zhlédnutí 32KPřed 2 lety
Reviewing my experience with the 2010 BMW S1000RR. This is an epic bike, a true monster and one of the most capable performers on the road. The bike belongs to my brother, and he is selling it as of April 2022 as he is not giving it the use it deserves. The bike features ABS, TCS, anti-wheelie - but it does not have a fuel gauge. That should tell you all you need to know! Ride safe, Aaron
BMW 330e (2017) PHEV Review - Acceleration, Range, Charging, Features

Taking you on a tour of my temporary car - it is a BMW 330e iPerformance. This is the plug in hybrid (PHEV) 6th Generation (F30) 3 series which features a 2 litre 4-cylinder petrol engine paired with an 88hp electric motor. It produces a very nice mix of power and economy. As a normal car, the economy is nothing special. It really depends how you drive it. You have to plug it in a lot, and on l...

Sharing some of my experience with my Gamo Air Rifle. I have had this rifle for 4 months now and fired over 1000 shots. It is excellent. I have achieved hits at ranges up to 100 metres. I use Gamo Pro Hunter Impact pellets. I recommend only using Gamo pellets, before I used a generic brand, and when I switched to Gamo pellets I found an immediate and significant improvement in accuracy, power a...
Yamaha TW125 - Review and Walkaround

Taking a look at my 2003 Yamaha TW125 (Trailway). This is an enduro or "farm bike" which I bought to rally around the country roads. It is an amazingly earthy bike, enough power for what it is, great handling and a good looker too. My missus loves to ride it - which has never happened with any of my bikes before. It can take a pillion, even off road through fields, as I tested before making thi...

Honda VFR800FI 1999 - 5th Generation VFR - Stock Exhaust - Review and Walkaround

Referenced video of this bikes' track capabilities: czcams.com/video/AV5RbKXgwnw/video.html Showing you around my 1999 Honda VFR800. This is the first fuel injected VFR and the last non-Vtec one. This short review is made by a very obvious amateur so please forgive the lacklustre production values. The Deauville however, is exceptional. Top speed is 196kmh (122mph). Weighs approx 270kgs. Upright seating position sports tourer. I purchased this bike in the UK for £2700 GBP and paid approx EUR270 to tax it for the roads in Ireland. Having used the 3310 (2017 model) since August 2017, I decided to upgrade to Nokia's latest device. The 800 Tough is priced between €120-€140 and used the updated KaiOS operating system. Battery life approx 1 week of normal use. I use this as my everyday device.

Let's say i want to go as far as i can on a full tank and battery at a speed of 120kmh, what range would i get? thanks again and nice video

Just purchased a 2000 model in red with 48,000 miles.....if you like retro bike's,I think these tick all boxes, Pedigree and racing heritage and character, all for the sum of £1500 in my case for a really clean honest bike that won't loose money. Got a new shock going on,some bar risers as well as the usual chain and sprockets...as well as the must have high level race can from Black Widow.....I'm more excited than I would be with a new bike! Next custodian of this machine.....here's to another 48,000 miles

Selling my pickup for one of these. I have a Bonneville which is my dream bike, but my god its cold in winter. Commuting at -5 degrees at 70mph without a fairing is painful. But paying £400 a month on diesel to commute by car is also painful. Hopefully one of these will be a reliable workhorse for me

Great review! I've had 3 of these, all in yellow. I miss my last one terribly, had the forks rebuild, rear shock was a custom sprung nitron, it felt like it was made for me. That muscular v8 esque powerband/sound... just the best. Had many great rides around Donegal and up the Dublin/Wicklow mountains. A real gem, loaded with character.

I recently bought one of these direct from HMD, mainly based on its 'tough' format and the Nokia name (after 3100, 6300, 301). In the 'feature phone' market space it is a very good 4G phone that can do lots of things normally associated with smartphones and which have ridiculously been dropped from most feature phones during the last decade of smartphone domination. I too had initial problems because for the first couple of weeks the battery life was quite dreadful. Wifi and BT and so on were off and the correct charger used and all that good stuff but it sank to 49% after 12 hours of standby and 13% after some calls. Clearly, that makes it worthless. I went on the HMD online chat and they were helpful and suggested a factory reset as an initial step. I was going to save data and setting first but before I had time to do that the phone battery suddenly started performing better. For no apparent reason, it had now improved so that after three days without charge its down to 84%. A strange recovery. I am not entirely confident in it yet but I shall continue to use it since it is not my only phone.

I am on my third Deauville now. I find them extremely comfortable indeed, and unless you get on the German Autobahn, also fast enough. Importantly, more nimble than a heavy tourer in urban traffic, but still more bad weather protection than an allroad. Great commuter, in my opinion.

I found one of these machines here in October 2023 for sale, original owner, always kept in the heated garage, 7500 miles/a 2010. Flawless non-ABS model thank goodness. I will only buy a motorcycle. without ABS from now on. I had an experience with my BMW K 1200 LT on a road that had gravel on it going downhill. No brakes.. I mean nothing front or rear, ABS on a motorcycle is dangerous. Because the brake system completely stops working. It’s not like a car where you have one wheel that will stop applying brake pressure, and three other ones that will. Your front brake is the one that’s going to save your life on a motorcycle, when that stops working, you’re dead… I went down that steep hill on that 950 pound BMW in the middle of nowhere, about the length of a football field, no breaks at all. I was lucky, there was a cyclone fence around an auto salvage yard at the bottom of the hill. I ran into that fence that was like a large wire net to stop. Only breaking my front fender. One thing to note about bikes with fuel injection, like this spike in the video if your battery goes dead, because you leave some thing on like heated grips or if you use your Killswitch to shut the bike off and leave the key on. You come out an hour or so later or the next day and your battery’s dead. you cannot bump start a fuel, injected, motorcycle with a low or dead battery. You have to have the computer, fully powered, the fuel injection system, fully powered, and the fuel pump fully powered before you would be able to bump start that motorcycle. You can bump start a motorcycle with carburetors, but not fuel injection. You need to carry small jumper cables. Believe it or not. A plug from an old washing machine, or dryer will work. Just put alligator clips on each end to use that cord as a jumper cable. They pack up nicely, much more compact than car jumper cables, which must be much heavier gauge wire.
