Hi Lacey, what a lovely introduction and as a newbie to your channel I can see so many similarities to me, although I am quite a bit older than you. I have 2 boys, one is 24, the other is 28, and I have an art studio in Victoria, Australia and teach Junk Journaling and Art Journaling. I have 3 cats who love to come in to the aforementioned studio and spend time with me and the girls when we are busy crafting. 😀 My ragdoll loves to get up close and personal and has ended up with paint and ink on his lovely white fur on a few occasions. 😂 I love animals and have 7 chickens, four whom are quite old and are retired from egg laying but they live their best life just scratching and pecking around. I live on 2.5 acres in the country so we have kangaroos that visit at night and eat our grass. I prefer decorating the journals, not the actual binding of them, and, like you I get bored quickly so usually by the end of one journal I am ready to start another project. I particularly love making ephemera for decorating the journals and I looooove making masterboards!! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos. 😀

Awesome!!! It looks great and honestly I wouldn't think you'd need really thick material because the spine and the fly sheets all seem to work together with the material to hold it all together. You have a really nice way of explaining everything. Very clear and concise. 🙂

I used to get a lot of napkins at the Christmas Tree stores but I’m not sure if there are any of those stores around us in Ohio

Love the big glue stick….are those sold at Hobby Lobby? Hopefully getting a Hobby lobby in Tiffin Ohio soon. The 25 days of Christmas journals are so fun to make & I might actually write in one of these books.

I think you would enjoy making a glue book….. or a magazine glue book. I don’t write in my journals so that’s why I like the glue book! Lots of DIY’s on CZcams to learn how. It’s basically the same as what you are doing now!

I think you had trouble cuz the bone folder is round. You need a plastic squeegee like for a Cricut. They sell them at Dollar Tree by the weeding tools
