where this location?
need a sand recycler
Is there no way to agitate the sand enough to get it to go through the dragline with the manure?
Farmer wasn't using / doesn't use a dragline; but yes, with multiple agitators the sand could be suspended enough to pump through a dragline. You have to balance the cost / wear of adequate agitation vs. dipping it out. No agitation system ever gets it as clean as putting a skid steer on the floor!
does that stink?
"Stink" is a very relative term, don't you agree?
Why the excavators are always using their stock bucket and not a bucket with a bigger volume ? Teeth are useless here for this job,and thay could go quicker moving material. Could a bigger bucket would be supported by the machine ? I don't know about density of the material here.
Well, it’s fine sand completely saturated with water & manure so it’s heavy. When this sand & manure is still a semi-liquid & able to be pumped, you should figure a minimum of 12 pounds per gallon.
@@rewingjohnson Thanks.
That’s my brother driving the tank
Greetings from Greece. How many pounds weights every ball?
40-50 pounds
I wonder how much pit gas the wheel loader operator was breathing in if any being in the pit
good question! Definitely something to be careful with as the most dangerous gas is heavier than air.
Хороший вариант, как для ферм, так даже и для поселений, если использовать хорошие санитарные средства.
what a shitty job

Is it possible to have this system and the baler n rack in india
Greetings from Southwest part of Pennsylvania. Great video thanks for sharing.
Thank you Dave, I appreciate the feedback!
How long did it take them to empty the pit?
Started at 9:00 & done at 3:00. I get to different farms due to my job - territory manager for Meyer Manufacturing - and through connections at church & in the local community.
How long have you had your drone?
A couple of years but didn't use it much at first. Now I'm realizing that I need a better one...
Great video. Why do you rake? Why doesn't the harvester leave the straw in a windrow?
I'm thinking that it got rained on so they wanted to turn it over to dry.
rewingjohnson cool thanks for info
With all those costs, I just don/t see how this would pay off.
Doesn't pay for the individual farmer - can't spread costs over enough gallons to justify owning everything. Custom operator CAN spread cost over enough gallons...
@@rewingjohnson Thanks for the clarification. I did not realize it was a custom operator operation- I guess I was not paying enough attention.
Great video. I farm in Virginia and need a real good manure spreader. I love the way your Meyer spreader looks and broadcast material.
Glad you enjoyed the video! Meyer puts quality ahead of price while still trying to be price competitive. We've got dealers in VA & I'll guess that you're in the Shenandoah Valley somewhere so check with Winchester Equipment, Beverage Tractor or Binkley & Hurst.
