I wish I could turn down the music slightly.
Wish I had you to inspect my brothers home. He’s not listening to me when I keep telling him something’s wrong. Trees roots grow underneath his home and there’s cracks on the inside and out side of his home, problem is I think I’m seeing it happen rapidly now. Cracks seem to be suddenly getting worse , doors getting stuck, is there anything u can tell me to look for that needs immediate attention
Those are definitely the signs of foundation problems. The more the foundation moves the greater chance of plumbing leaks. Most plumbing repairs are significantly higher than fixing the foundation.
@@StratumFoundationRepair the light in the kitchen drips when it snows a lot I think. But I can’t figure out is downstairs by the back door it was like out of nowhere was a big soaking wet spot on the carpet ?? The door to the patio wich the cement tiles are totally uneven due to another tree. It’s like I feel like they knew the trees were going to be a problem and that’s why they sold it🤷♀️ is there any reason there would be a random wet spot like that? Where would it come from?
Please get rid of the background music
I have a foundation that I believe is unfixable. The house was built in 1974. I had some foundation companies come and no company can fix my foundation. Is there anything I can do other than demolishing the house and start over
I like your video presentation. It is informative too, at the same time. Thanks a lot for your guidance!
Are you serious? You are supposed to water it 12 to 18 inches from the foundation.
No tools, no gloves......
Loud music + dog barking , can’t get any better
Mute the volume and hit the CC button.
the music kinda is too loud to hear clearly😬
can the music be any louder. i can still hear u talk
Hey man do you have to be certified in the equipment to run elevations or just a good inspection piece for client report summaries? Thanks for your time!
So much music. Please inspect video before posting
There is significant room for error putting a level on the doorway trim....ie lazy carpenter
Thanks for your video. But I have a question. When I notice an elevation with this device, how can I conclude that it is hydrostatic pressure? Because there are 2 more possibilities ( expansive soil or frost heave) Thanks
Music is not necessary
Thank you, very informative vedio.
This guy worried about getting water in his pants or what
Nice
Music is kinda distracting, but otherwise great vid!
esp at the 7 min area
Apologize but you don't have to pick up the house to its highest point, if the hydrostatic test comes back negative maybe the sewer or plumbing repair has already been taken care of. The garage area normally has a slop of 2 1/2 inches as seen in your diagram. To me this home has a poor drainage system based on your elevations.
Want to tell us what is that yellow instrument?
Zip level
Which software are you using? Very informative video. Thanks very much.
I was going to ask what instrument he’s using. Since he didn’t reply to you, I am assuming he’s not revealing his trade secrets?😄
It's a zip level.
barking doggie inspection too before you move in
Esta bueno voy aplicar

Hi, we bought an old house built in 1972 in TX for flip/sell. We have a foundation repairs just like this video, but our foundation repairs goes around the house and inside. We were not there to monitor the process but when it's all said and done, there were so much dirt left around the house...so I was wondering "why there was so much dirt left"? Do they not compact it well or what?? I have been trying to find an answer to this and still have not found one...so PLEASE someone advise if you know the real answer. Thank you.
I know what to expect when using that method. Expect to call back for warranty in 5 years.
What kinda warranty is on the push piers an do you offer helical? Or just push piers?
looks like a new house, damn I felt sorry for the home owner.
i wonder how old is this house ?
The Grasshopper looking for a crack to live in <3
Is it safe to say that the possible cause would be 2 fold? 1. The lack of gutters allows ALL water to seep into the foundation/footing. Ex. your video on the right side clearly showing erosion of the soil and an exposed footing with the over pour. Clearly water entering at this point and happens t obe the worst damage. 2. Type of foundation? Monolithic pour with no block stem wall. I would presume no vertical rebar was used to tie into the slab and/or a cold joint occurred due to the monolithic pour Any thoughts?
So if I go to a home inspection if I see these signs means the house is not worth buying ?
We are in the process of building our home and your video helps tremendously. I have a question: my build graded the dirt , the moisture barrier as well as the cables are in. However, it has been sitting like that for almost a month and with heavy rain we have had in Austin, which caused a lot of the dirt being washed away and about 6 moisture barrier had been flown away as well. What and how they should fix the situation to make sure the integrity of the foundation is not compromised? Can’t wait for your response.
Friendly and knowledge..
good job guy's
This house doesn't look old enough for foundation problems like this...
Sometimes you have yo dig down 8 FEET yo get to the footing its those days you really earn your pay
ugh I need help but live in upstate ny and I see you guys are not in ny
the house needs gutters with the downspouts extended underground. That's why you see a low soil level. It has been washed away. Plus, the roof drip line, with out gutters, during rain events has contributed to this problem increasing soil swelling around the home. Get some gutters on the home. And extend the them out below grade.
This this video exterior examination shows that there must be a hydrostatic there just got to be a Plumbing Leak towards the middle of the house when all four corners of the building are separating at The Brick freeze you have some areas with larger cracks than others at the brick freeze Zone, hydrostatic test to determine and eliminate internal plumbing leaks should be your primary concern to a resident. Other than this visual inspection hopefully your company does interior elevations and recommendations for hydrostatic testing to these homeowners.

Excellent video my friend!
good video on using pressed concrete piers to repair the home foundation. thanks for the share!
I'd guess around 12-16 grand for multiple piers
Love the music do you have a title so I can look it up
"the XX - rainy mood" i believe.
slab on grade with poor drainage
man I hate digging getting tired just watching this. haha
