Unbelievably cool!! The outro music was also cool 😎
These belong in a museum, I would love to own one of your original pieces! So cool! 😎
Where do I go to purchase these?
The video relates to examples of what you can make using mold 250. What you see here are some examples that I had auctioned off on Ebay a while back.
@@hirstarts8327 Thank you so much!! I hope you have a great day!
@@hirstarts8327 they're amazing! Gonna need to pick those up some time soon
Gorgeous work as usual!!
Wow i accidentally stumbled upon your video on youtube and i must say that this looks great, beautiful work! Looking at your homepage and I noticed that you have so many different molds, it is something I never thought of doing but now i feel tempted to start casting. Would you recommend the brick ruin walls over the fieldstone walls for the zombicide black plague theme? And do you think your spaceship walls could work for zombicide invader? Its a pleasure to browse through the page and see all the different designs you have been working on. Best regards Aaron.
I think either style would work well. With the brick ruined mold, I have the exact plans for the zombicide game. However, if you're going to build something else, the fieldstone molds can work for a larger variety of projects. I didn't know there was a zombicide invader game. I'll have to look at that.
I really like the pieces made with Hirst Arts molds, but they're not for sale in Brazil :(
I love my molds. Great work and great molds.
been using your molds for decades. fantastic. if anything id ask for pirate ship parts
Excellent !
Nice !
EXCELLENT.
nice!!
Excellent modularity/usability
Plaster Guys are THE BEST!!!!!
That inner pyramid idea is gold!!
I think this one is probably going to be my solution. I think mainly because the walls don't completely fill in the imagination, and sort of block in people to seeing the dungeon on the board and not the expression of what it might be conveyed in the descriptions of the scenes. They seem like they enhance without a drawback.
Hello! I'm seriously jealous of those cast pieces from Dwarvenforge, and I think your products might be my absolute best bet to scratch that itch, in an economical way! I'm gonna be picking up some molds this year.
i buy the maps molds but never fininho my space hulk...congratulations for the amazing map
This would be fantastic for the new boarding actions game style too!!
Wonderful SH terrain. I'm still working on mine. More orders coming 'soon'. :)
Amazing to watch
are these on a base or just glued together?
It depends on how large the section is. I would mount the size you see here on foam or foam core board. But smaller sections about four squares in each direction wouldn't need to be mounted.
Did you try thinning it out with more paint thinner? It may not be as dark as you want but it will be more runny and leak off like what you are looking for. If you want it darker then why not try multiple dips after drying?
That sounds reasonable. I did not spend as much time with it as I could have. Gel stain stinks a bit and is hard to clean up so I didn't mess with it as much as other materials.
Going to make the rubble dice tower with this method. Wish me luck guys.
Is hydrostone way better?
Always look at the compression strength of the casting material. Various hydrostones and dental stones have different compression strengths. If you find a hydrostone with a compression strength of 8000 psi and a dental stone with a compression strength of 9000 psi, then go with the dental stone.
@@hirstarts8327 also, after painting do you seal them with anything like a matte clear coat?
No, I paint them using flat house paint which is really durable so no sealer is needed.
Fantastic work dude!
Got a link to the eBay listing
Sorry, but the Ebay listing is over. I think you can still see the sold listing at www.ebay.com/itm/204499428692
@@hirstarts8327Your art is going for a underrated amount. You should be getting thousands for a piece like this. I wish you the best and that money showers from the heavens for you 💸💸 you deserve it. Also, I'm really disappointed that I missed these, life was busy for the last year and I would've loved to own this. Oh well, guess I gotta make my own!! 😄
Would a set like this be way too expensive to cast in the plastic?
Yes, it would be really expensive. My guess is that it would cost at least $400 in materials alone.
Another good reason for doing this is you can put little magnets under the paper. You can then add magnets to pillars or other features (be aware of polarity) The pillars, tables, altars or whatever will then be way more resistant to getting bumped over or into the wrong square.
This was the build I've started with. Brings back memories.

Waiting for the next video and a new project! Greetings!
thanks!!
These are AMAZING! So good. Could you share how you painted them? That stone effect is so perfect. What colours, paint and wash did you use?
You can find the exact instructions at hirstarts.com/painting/painting3.html but I cast them in tan dental stone, gave them coat of satin varnish and then used brown shoe polish as a stain.
That looks Fantastic
Where does this music come from? Who produced it? It’s awesome, just like the models.
The music is one of those tracks provided by CZcams. They offer royalty free music at no cost to put with videos. I've got about 30 songs saved from their web site to insert into videos but I don't remember the artist's information.

this looks amazing i love the secrete door and how well hidden the are, i learned a lot from this video thanks for sharing
Such a good set of molds for Age of Signar game terrain too.
I've made this its a good looking model, haven't used dental stone in years ever since I got a Resin printer. I dont do both now, but looking back I think working with dental stone bricks was a better side hobby than 3 d printing. Each do there own thing obviously, but lego is fun.
glad to see you posting again. ive been a fan of your molds for 10 years. love your work
It's a shame you don't make molds for other scales. Would love a 10mm set
Well - I just found out that he does. For example the Mold #370 ("Castle Cube Bases") is sized for 6mm or 1:285. So it would be perfect for games like Warmaster. Time to buy some more molds 🫰😁💰✨
Good to see you posting more. I thought that the 28mm Warhammer was considered "heroic" scale and actually closer to 30 or 32 mm? Close enough for government work...
these look amazing! do you have plans to make something for the new white death set? some new siege walls would be awesome
I was not aware of the new white death set. I'll look into it.
@@hirstarts8327 oh cool, they are going to have a wall mechanic that i think building your own set would be fun. they will be offering some plastic walls but lets be honest, your molds can probably do a way better job!
Too bad you don't play D&D. This would be perfect for a D&D scenario. I can imagine a fight to take or hold the bridge, maybe even with boats involved. Thieves could climb that rock wall. Flying creatures could descend from above. The verticality of it makes it very interesting!
It's gorgeous
NICE!!!!! Love the rock work!!! That had to be a ton of casts:)!!!!
Nice looking piece. :)
I ordered my first mold from you in 2002! How wild is that? It still makes perfect pieces. You're the man.
Hey, me too, Same year!. I did buy four of them. One got mangled while moving homes, but the other three are still fine!
