I see there are no comments , that's really sad but, it's not unusual when it comes to anything with Jimi Hendrix name associated with it and black people . Most black people wouldn't know who he was if you showed them a picture . As brilliant as he was and so far ahead of his time by at least 20 years or better , he's hardly known in the black community

George Duke. Who could not love this man? One of the first things I would have asked George if I were the interviewer would be whether Uncle Frank and Stanley Clarke ever met or played together. I do realize how different those two giants are/were, but they had connections through other musicians, especially George Duke and Jean Luc Ponty. At the very least, they had to have some familiarity with each other's work.

I worked there when 7 stages opened. I was lighting design and set design an light board operator. Also lived at Del and and Faye’s house on Elmira ! Some of you might remember me as Mitzi Alspach back then. 7 stages was and still is the best of times! Buried Child, Wasted, The Gospel of Mary, Phaedra, The Earthlings,Three Penny Opera and more back in 1979,80,81..Fun!
