My #1 Beginner Keyboard Recommendation
As a beginning piano student, you need a keyboard that has 88 or 76 keys, weighted keys, and is affordable. I've found the best value keyboards are Yamaha's.
Here is my top keyboard recommendation.
Yamaha P-125

Oh how i love people who take the time and effort to truly, THOROUGHLY teach others complicated concepts or subjects, without actually asking anything back....free good quality education is my shit
Thanks for sharing!!
Very informative tutorial even though it was explained at a lightning speed
You are incredible. You made me smh..master your message is clear and strong.. thank you.. music is life! Keith
I tell you this right now, when I’m barely into the intro: If you successfully help me learn how to do this, I will have no choice BUT to subscribe immediately. Having said this, I see you hardly ever post, but you likely already have a bunch of great, helpful videos.
Thank you….
It's basic... With chords it's different..
lead-sheet, chord notation for harmony, notes for melody
Watching this video at grade 6 made me feel like I’m starting over again. idk why I watched this
I endorse this video.
The best video ever
Thank you🎉
The best video ever
4:02 ah yes. My favorite note. C flat
So helpful thank you so much!
Several music theory classes couldn’t get me to understand as clearly as this video. Great video
wow i never knew of the spatial system its so simple imo compared to the major scare system. Don’t really know the utilitarian difference or what ever there may be but im glad ive learned of the spatial system
Really helpful ❤❤
9:00
That was really good and very clear, thank you! Now, to the hard part, applying the wisdom.

Just starting out here and I have only one question: where would you write notes on a staff if it goes past the second ledger line of high c or low c? do you just write more ledger lines?
Yes, just write more ledger lines.
Awesome lesson ❤thanks for sharing 🍻
Very helpful. Thanks a lot ❤
This is a 1 year chord course condensed into a 1 hour video... Need to watch it 3 more times
10:55 day 1 15:59 day 2 (srsly!?) bashing myself cuz i'm a lazy mf
Don’t be discouraged. Take your time and keep going.
omg the landmarks made it so simple, thank you!!
I LOVE YOU
This is an amzing video, in every aspect. It shows that you are a perfectionist and I can‘t imagine how many takes and small adjustments you made to be happy with the result. Just wow.
This video was legendary. I learned a ton!!!
Why do you add A note to Cminor6th chord because its not even in the Cmin scale explain plss
I just soaked this shut up like a sponge thanks so much
How to know what octave you play?
Awesome ! This is very useful. Thank you.
Just a note that the natural 11 isn't an available chord tension on the major 7th chord - if you want to include the 11, it must be Lydian (i.e. #11), to avoid creating an unwanted tritone and flat 9 interval.
I find this Video very help and good understand able. Thx for creating that
This has been the most informative, densely packed and useful content on music education ive consumed in probably 10 years. Respect you so much for teaching this in such a perfect manner.
Try to learn but at 22:30 it just went above my bird head 😢
I need this but for guitar haha
Thank you so much for this inclusive informative video, really appreciate your work & effort 👏
I understood more in this video than others
Thank you 🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂
3:41 g note
i am so confused ( or just plain dumb ) cause if the formula to major scale is Whole, Whole, Half, Whole Whole, Whole, and Half then why is the A major scale is A, B, C#, D, E, F#, G#, and A 🥹 if we're going with the formula that you mentioned then shouldn't it be A, B, C, C#, E, F, G, and G# ? 🥹 someone respond pls
Formula is correct. WWHWWWH From A to B is a whole step (W). From B to C# is a whole step (W). C# to D is a half step (H). D to E is a whole step (W). E to F# is a whole step (W). F# to G# is a whole step (W). G# to A is a half step (H) WWHWWWH
@@musiciansinspired thank you sir 💙💙
I’ve spent t 30 years playing guitar. Today I finally leaned what the stuff I’ve been reading means.
Thank you for this excellent tutorial x
We learned the do-re-mi naming so this hurts my brain.
Man... What can I say.. You really gave us a clear, grammatical projection of the piano theory. I am an absolute beginner and with this video I have all I need to learn with clarity and really metabolize all these intricate concepts. I huge thanks for you dedication and time spent for all of us. Absolutely sublime..
