Come see some of Japan's country-side from the air using a DJI drone. Minamishimabara and Shimabara produce delicious fruits and vegetables because of the volcanos in the region. Unzen's last eruption in 1991. Since then, dikes and dams have been constructed around the Mizunashi River( no-water river) to channel lahar flows away from vulnerable areas. The no-water river is also in the footage.

OK it's now 2020 and there are still people standing on the bluffs. The fences and $5000 fine is not making a difference. Yesterday, August 23, 2020 a portion of the bluffs came down and people were up there today looking down! No respect!
