How is that a one shot is critical hit plus rain dance. Your mistake was knowing Starmie had more speed and not using Raichu's quick attack to get fhe 28hp down and then get owned with a watermpokemon using a water move.

I knew i wasnt tripping. The rental pokemon has stuff that doesnt benefit them making it harder. At the same time i think this was by design and i am proud of it.

I watched your elite 4 vid and got so frustrated that you were getting so lucky. But your Red battle is what i remenber from playing when i was younger. That is a normal experience.

This is almost frustrating to watch as to how lucky you were on this. Status changing the opponents. Not getting hit by your confusions. And of course that last battle with dragonair. Absolutely mind boggling!

1v1'd the R2 Mewtwo with my level 55 Chancey. Froze him with Ice Beam on turn one after surviving a Psychic with 5% hp left. Then spent the next 35 turns Pounding him.

This was only the R1 Mewtwo, the R2 Mewtwo has all its stats maxed and uses Amnesia instead of Rest

Imagine if the current games were like this. No matter what you had to choose only 3 Pokemon before going into battle with the Elite 4 & you wouldn't get the heads up on which Pokemon is coming next or get the chance to switch after you KO their Pokemon. Now that would be a challenge.
