Some say they heard explostions prior to collapse, is this not expected in a large fire? Transformers explode, pipes burst, pressurised containers explode, elevators were known to periodically fall, floors partially collapsed. 16 responders described jumpers hitting the floor "like an explosion" or " like a bomb going off". Oh, & the so called bulge between the wings of the 767 - that's called a fairing, it's where the under carriage is kept.

Plenty of steel frame structures have collapsed from fire alone, however, no one other then conspiracy theorisits have suggested the cause of collapse was simply fire & certainly no one other then truthers have suggested that the steel simply melted. Every so called witness describing explosions has had their statements taken desperately out of context. Around 30 used the word bomb & more then 80 used explosion both being used to describe the collapse of the building - not explosives.

Roberto Luz who made this video has all the respect in the world for the Mayan people. Enough so that he made this video to help the condition of a lake that many of their lively hoods depend on. It is a valid question.. Hombres de Maiz o Hombres de Basura? It;s a choice many aren;t evene aware of except for this video. Roberto has lived here for most of his adult life and has raised two children here at the lake one who already has children of their own. He is one gente bueno in Atitlan.

It IS crazy to judge projects by "likes." I am sick and tired of this, as projects should be based on merit, not popularity. As you point out, the difference in population is significant and judging by the "most likes" is irresponsible and unrealistic. But the kids should have recognition so perhaps you could create a special prize category just for them!

What's crazy is that they're judging the projects by the likes they get. Let's see.. Cerro de Oro with a population of 400 vs Solola with 45,000 and Xela (also an Access III recipient) one quarter of a million people. Regardless it was a joy working with these children and I'd love to see them acknowledged for their efforts and creativity.
