Heya being produced by Dem wasn't on my expectations at all. I knew his sounds, and yall can just compared ALL the songs w Heya and it's so obvious. I can't tell what the element is missing on Heya that I cannot recognize him produced this song, but the song still make sense for me. On the other hand, I'm more believe if Accendio is produced by him (it's not)

I can't describe in words that How grateful I am to you for making this video. This video brings nostalgia and also shows that why Kpop got so big. Third generation Artists were focused on making original, iconic and musically excellent songs instead of making songs that could go viral on tiktok. #3rd generation is the best generation in KPOP

this video is 8 months old and the comments still make me want to start biting people. folks, kpop artists are-wait for it, wait for it-Korean pop artists. that means that they can make noise music, but instead of it being traditional “noise rock” or even Japanoise (is it still called that?? think like, Incapacitants) it’s going to fit the conventions of a KOREAN POP SONG. NCT cannot release a 15 minute screeching song a la Lou Reed. but this doesn’t mean they can’t incorporate the conventions of noise music into their songs!! for example, the distorted repetition of industrial noise music can be seen in a song like ATEEZ’s Hala Hala, or in some of Dreamcatcher’s more rock-inspired tunes (names escaping me sorry). or if that’s too vague, the Tago Mago album (a fucking HALLMARK of the noise music wave!!) literally has songs that sound like parts of NCT instrumentals! (Peking O -> Punch is the biggest one, but there are other scattered measures) or if that’s all too old, try the post-digital/glitch movement! electric hum, digital distortion, ambient metal using synth with developing melodies?? folks, I have literally just recited the recipe to the average ATEEZ title track (though of course, to match the overarching Korean pop genre, a song reminiscent of ambient black metal would be much faster than the average pace of a song in that genre). postdigital noise using spliced samples in order to create a purposefully chaotic track and adding in clicks, glitches, or other startling noises to keep the tempo? sounds like SKZ and NCT to me! look, my point (on this video where all the arguing has been said and done already, my bad) is this; no kpop group is going to drop Metal Machine Music part two. SVT is not the next Japanoise superstar. but saying that this isn’t “noise music” is a damn stupid classification to make when noise music, at its core, has ALWAYS been music LITERALLY using noise (or nonmusical sound) to express itself. and guess what? kpop artists can, and *do,* use these noises to express themselves in their music. so is it traditional noise rock? no. but that doesn’t mean it isn’t “noise music”

As 3rd gen was going on, you could feel the expanse of kpop making waves worldwide But that didn't stop them from serving us It was golden and will remain golden, it shifted the music industry whether anyone acknowledges or not And it birthed new era of kpop, one which we would never forget
