Yesterday bike didnt start up, blown fuse 5, replace it and blown again. Bike is at the dealer right now, so i cant check if it is the lambda cable.

So to eyeball it before grabbing the tools in a parking lot on the center stand , looking at the half circle cut where the screw driver is inserted, if the top of the chain is flush with that circles, hook/pointy tooth on the bottom then chain is good. If below, too loose , and if above then too tight, hence tell tale sign to get screw driver to confirm when on center stand. Based on image at 6:54.

Just found where that plate should be located, on the front of the battery box... mine is broken because of the accident that is why it has been dificult for me to figure it out the puzzle. Hahaha. Best regards

Thanks for the detailed guide on this install was invaluable when I installed the spotlights last weekend. Also hardwired in my Chigee carplay unit and fixed the heated grips wiring that my dealer didn't do correctly, I love this bike but taking it apart is a test of my love!

Just got a 2024 S model and the tip here was helpful thank you. I considered the R or the S, but I sat down and was honest with myself. Number one i live in Europe, there is very limited amount of offroad compared to roads including gravel roads. Secondly how much real offroad do I actually do anymore as I have aged a bit, and being upside down in mud and crap is actually not fun for me anymore. I love twisties, backroads, gravel roads and stuff like that. I have a great experience doing so, and that is what I actually needed a new bike for. I do blast through large stretches of road to get to the area I want to explore and enjoy on my limited amount of holiday. So a bike that can eat miles fast, is great on twisties and the occational gravel road was what I needed. I needed the S model, and behold I got one. BTW Cracking deals on the 1290's now as "everyone" is waiting for the 1390's (with all the new model issues) so if one is in the market for a travel do all the stuff 99% actually do its a bargain for the moment.

Is the one piece seat a bit roomier for the rider? I feel the PP ergo seat one rider seat (two piece) locks me into one position and I zero room to move back. I am not a big guy

Hello, i ve lost that chain measuring plastic part during ride. I have uninstalled it a few times, because of more place to clean and lube the chain and inner screw was tore down on both screws, so it has not hold well. Is it an important part or i can forget about it and how can i measure my chain tension now?

These are nice handling tires both on and off road. They make a nasty hum noise between 75-85. The rear flats easy. They rip in the middle...not repairable. Total nightmare. This is not a good tire for the BMW 1250 GSA unless you ride really slow in the dirt. They are not tough... Sad, because I like how they ride.

I've just followed this to wire in my tomtom to my (new to me) 2021 SAS. THANK YOU. I couldn't have done it without this video. No bolts left over either, which is my usual form..... 😂😂

Thanks for the review bud. Just ordered this setup for my 2023 1290 SAR. I am hoping this is flatter than the stock SAR seat. As in not trying to push you in the tank constantly.

That doesn't help at all against theft! Because there are only 2 screws that have to be unscrewed in 10 seconds, and someone can take the whole thing with the bracket.

The faster you ride these trails the quicker they will be removed. Think about the other people before you rag it along these beautiful trails.

My 1290 SAS had it's first service a few weeks ago. I've since done 2500kms and was thinking about doing an interim oil service maybe around 7k....no harm!

Is Oil check with cold engine or hot?

What fuse does it blow?

Did you experience before this engine failure any throttle jerk or stutters/stumbles ? My bike 1290 SAS from 2023 has only 1000km, but from the beginning when I took the bike from the dealer I have this issue. My local dealer downplays the issue because the diagnostics show nothing. I'm also waiting for KTM replay for my warranty claim about sealing the rear exhaust insulation 3 weeks already.... It is my second KTM 1290 SAS and I really dont like the way how they deal with they customers...

Hello, I have problems with my ACC. It says it has a mail function on the ACC (but the normal cruise control still works). I used it during riding and it worked fine. Then switched the ACC of when arriving at my destination and instantly is showed an error.. I have already done this; 1) pull off the radar plug and placed it back after one minute. 2) pulled of the battery for 24 hours and placed it back 3) at last a went to a KTM dealer and they put the bike on the computer . The reset the malfunction problem, but when I switched the bike on and off it came instantly back. Does somebody has the same problem and how did you fixed it? Hope somebody can help me out on this 😅 PS: love your videos Ricardo! 🙌🏽💪🏽
