That was a pretty lame rendition of boogey on the trumpet, it was like in slow motion speed.
Agreed. And the lack of vocal range from these three singers doesn't help see;; this version of the song.
We had a TJB group at Eastern Oregon State College....fun!

We ran CRY ME A RIVER once many months ago in a rehearsal and I filed it away. I placed in on the set list for the dance we played last Monday and we pretty much sightread it thru for the dance and it worked very well. We played this on Tuesday at a performance and again for this gig. So, this is actually the third time we have played this. FUN CHART! Marianne has done an awesome job on the vocal.

Just trying to be objective..you guys needed a few more players..I played this arrangement while in HS jazz band and we sounded better. Your #1 trumpet is pretty decent though..
Frank Minear taught high school concert band and jazz band in my hometown of Monroe, Washington for least few months of a turbulent 1984-85 school year, taking over when Dr. Bill Schink (new that year) left the school district. Mr. Minear was an awesome teacher, but his commute from his then-Graham, Washington home was too much and he couldn't afford to move. To this day, the jazz chart "Bump Music" plays inside my memory on occasion.
