When I listen to this song, every single time I’m hit with chills. When my wife and I got married, Amy got married within like two weeks of our wedding. Few years later, I hear this song for the first time and almost start to cry. Once again, Sheppard parallels something in my life. My wedding speech to my wife was all about the idea of home being a foreign concept to me growing up (we moved a lot; nothing was ever stable) and how I always wanted my own home. My search for home took me over 30 years of my life, and when I found it, it was never a place: it was her all along. Wherever she is, if I’m with her: I’m home. Congrats again to the happy couple and I’m so happy you found your home. 😊
