Eventually unveiled! I was expecting something like that after spoting a Philly Fuzz with two knobs on Gina's Instagram... It seems to sound a little louder than the Heretic. I will try to pick one if JB bring some in the european tour of Baroness

How is the cleanup on the Martyr? I LOVE my Heretic, but the clean is not that great and it would be a greater pedal with a good cleanup.
So far, we have not specifically made a fuzz-pedal that is meant to operate very cleanly. The HERETIC and MARTYR can be cleaned up a bit and used to great effect with the instrument's volume knob turned-down slightly, but our focus has been more on "dirt" than "cleanliness". In the future, we may design some stomps to accommodate the more-transparent side of the spectrum, but the HERETIC and MARTYR two are primarily meant to add rich layers of harmonic fuzz to a clean signal.

Jonathan Veillette I've used my volume pot a lot for many pedals, and I feel the Heretic cleans up pretty well with it down! What settings do you use?
Lots of different settings, either low or high gain. Do you have a Treble Bleed on your guitar, maybe that's why. It always get dark here, whatever guitar I use(Les Paul, Telecaster, Strat, Jazzmaster...). None of them has a Treble Bleed mod installed.
Jonathan Veillette I did notice with my Les Paul I had to change my settings quite a bit with the Heretic on, however, through a clean channel it really shines. I have an ASAT Bluesboy and I roll back the tone knob so the highs are cut a little and it sounds fan-fucking-tastic with the Heretic through any amp! It does take some toying with, though!
