No. IF you want that, that will be a CUSTOM build and hardward and software needs modification.

The sensor must be replaced by the same sensitivity sensor, i.e. same range. So if the sensor being removed is 0-1000ppm, you MUST replace it with a 0-1000ppm sensor of the same gas type. The electronics with respect to front end signal conditioning and amplifier and accomodation for dynamic range is designed for that sensor range and type and no other.

Meth fumes are very pungent, that the human nose is MUCH more sensitive than a ppm VOC detector. Your nose in this case is 1000 times more sensitive.

2 to 3 years max, these are low level ppm sensor in most cases. Home UL2034 CO detectors not as accurate in the low and hence price difference and also lifetime difference.
