Hi, thank you. Sunbeam 22 is a great boat. I have the "kielschwert" version from year 76. I don´t have much experience with other boats. I´d say the stability of Sunbeam is perfect. When you have too much wind and you get too inclined, the rudder loses its function and the boat steers itself towards the wind. As you can see in the video, we were trying to find the balance and get the max speed, but sometimes we lost it because the incline was too big. The wind speed was (as I remember) Bft 4 (8 m/s).

+jirisojak Thanks! Wow :) As I can see you used one genoa, and a in the first reff main? How many peaople was on board? The beds are quite shorts in the "Vorschiff", or not? It is suitable to sleep 4 adults during a sailingtrip? Sorry for the quite many question :)

+Balagevideo Hi, the sails were as you write. we were 3 adults on board. the maximum capacity we have tested is 3 adults and 1 child. the double bed in Vorschiff is quite small. I have slept there with my small daugter and it was OK, but I had to have my feet and my had pressed against the corner (I have 186 cm). the 2 normal beds in the middle are quite ok, little bit narrow. As I Say, 4 adult people can sleep in, but two of them, sleeping in the front, must be really "in love". Also the overall space inside is quite small. It works with 3 people, in 4 you realy are still stumbling over something/someone. I thing here is quite clear, how old is the ship. I think any younger boat 6,5 m long has much more inner space than Sunbeam. all the boats usually use the maxim towing width 2,55 m, Sunbeam 22 is narrower. But I believe that it improves its sailing qualities. No amount of questins is many, I realy like to chat about the boat. Bye.
