How to build a giant 90s doll costume
Inspired by Tim Walker’s dreamy fashion photographs, and driven by my desire to revisit my childhood memories from an artistic perspective for a personal photography project, I embarked on a nine-month creative journey to create a giant wearable costume version of my favorite childhood doll Papou.

DIY Giant Light Up Wooden Mr & Mrs Wedding Marquee Letters
zhlédnutí 49KPřed 2 lety
Listed below are all the items we bought, previously owned and used for creating the marquee letters. This project saw the light of day with the help and collaboration of my father Tony. I got the chance to use his power tools for free, which helped me remain within my $300 budget. I hope you enjoy watching this video as much as I’ve enjoyed making it! Brilliant. How did you work out the stencil template ?

What is the price ?
I’d be VERY interested in buying your letter templates and happy to pay whatever you charge for the entire alphabet. Please comment back if you are interested.
very good !!
Can you put the measurements of the letters?
Awesome!
Hi, love the letters what kind of lights did you use? the brand?
Wow!
Can you send us your contact info and website
They still married 😭😭😭
How did you get them to stick?
What kind of wood did u use? Are they 5 feet tall?
What kind of wood did u use
5/8 Particle board :)
Hi :-) Which font did you use? This is an awesome work, it looks awesome!!!!
Thank you!! No specific font in mind, just thought it would be easier to make the letters in straight cuts rather than curves because I knew I wanted a wooden trim all around. Originally, I was going to add a serif at the base of each letter, but figured it would be easier to add a small wooden base behind each letter instead. It also helped keep the letters somewhat lightweight for transportation!
what zise its the letters??? greeeeat joob..
How did you work out the sizes and proportions of letters?? Great job look mint 👍🏼
Thank you! I knew I wanted the letters at waist height. That was the starting point for measurements and proportions. :)
Can you give some details for the lettering? How many lights per each letter? Or a stencil
Thank you for your comment! :) 11 to 12 lights per letter. At the moment, my templates aren't available for online purchases.
how long did this take ?
About 3 months, but we only worked on it, a bit at a time, about 3-5 hours a week.
Do you sell them?
Not at the moment.
Where did you get the lettering outline? Loved your step by step 😊
Thank you! I made them myself from scratch.
