Hi awesome video! My father just purchased this jack hammer and he says that it only hit once and then only vibrates. Is there something he might be doing wrong? Thanks

Yes i have used and owned other hammers. The hilti 300 for example is stronger, but so much heavier and bulkier. I still like this one because of the case and weight but it still has enough punch to do what I need to do.

The rag is for wiping the drill bit shank's end before inserting it into the chuck. Bosch says it's vital to always grease the bit before use to prolong its life. Thanks for sharing your video, valuable information, and thoughts. I have a Bosch RH850VC 120-Volt 1-7/8" SDS-max Rotary Hammer. I was thinking of adding a Bosch GBH18V-28DCN 18V Brushless Connected-Ready SDS-Plus Bulldog 1-1/8 in. Rotary Hammer. Now I'm not sure whether if I go bigger, I should get the BOSCH DH1020VC Inline Demolition Hammer, Blue & HS1935 SDS-Max Shank Self-Sharpening R-Tec Flat Chisel, Silver, 16 inches, or your Bosch 11335K 35-Pound 1-1/8-Inch Jack Hammer Kit...?? This is such a tough decision for me. Any thoughts about the last 2 that I mentioned? Thanks again.

Thanks for the comments. As for which bigger hammer to get, it's really about what kind of jobs you will be doing. I personally deal with thick concrete that sometimes has rebar. If you are removing walls or tile or even residential concrete, the DHC1020 should be fine.

I've had this for like 10 years, very soon after it came out, and it has started with a burning smell when using it. Great hammer and I'm glad I didn't get a bigger BRUTE type. Anyone know how to lubricate the internals? (I assume using the black port on the front face) The manual says nothing about adding oil other than "professional maintenance".

The rag is for wiping off the chisel bit end that inserts into the hammer. Not sure how regularly the bit should be greased , although at least every use. I have a larger Hilti hammer drill/chisel hammer and it came with grease and a rag. I just picked up this Bosch you have from a pawn shop did yours come with grease?
