K have a si.ilar fault but it doesn't start with the key in the emergency position and the radi doesnt light up like yours. My recieved if fairly key too. Any ideas??

Hi Andy - thanks for posting this video - i think i have the same issue but my door is locked and wont open - any chance you can post a quick update on whether you managed to get the door mechanism out through that small access hatch behind the door card and the testing of the microswitch?

That 2.2's a pointless Drake, it'll eat it's injectors and take your wallet with it. The best mk4 enfines are the 1.8td and 2.5t.

What's the handling like round the twisties.

I have a ford flex with the same problem. For some time i suspected it was the receiver antenna. How did you locate it. I cant find any info online where it should be located. There is a fiesta video that shows its under the center console.

You can’t get to the top bolt. Or at least I can’t. You can’t even see the top bolt on the DRL module.

In the real world, I get 52-58 mpg in general use, according to how quickly I want to travel. It happily does 70 mph on the motorway, but acceleration is limited. You forgot to mention that the rear seat bases fold down into the foot-well, which truly makes the load area flat.

Hi very useful video. I’m having the same problem I’ve had my car in to the Ford garage where they diagnosed the same problem but mine has got a corroded connection that plugs in to the receiver. They have given me the receiver to show me and are saying it needs a new part wiring harness and new receiver that may have to come from Germany with total cost of £515 fitted 😢
