Hi Melanie, I really do love this layout! It’s so funny because normally I don’t think that I would gravitate towards this Scrapbooking kit. But you always seem to put these layouts together so nicely that they really do come together so perfectly!😊💙💚💛 You had mentioned that your Scrapbooking store is going to be closing and that one of the reasons you love the store is it carries some older collections and paper that you can still pick up. I was watching Lisa from Life in layouts yesterday and she did a great layout with an older simple stories collection, I believe it was called school life. I loved the way it turned out and I loved a lot of the elements from the kit. So I looked for it in a few different places online and found enough of the collection kit that I would be able to scrapbook a few pages for both of my boys! I ended up ordering from the 12 x 12 card stock shop and From scrapbook supply company. Granted some of the papers were on sale and some of them were not. I just wanted to let you know about those two stores, oh and I also wanted to let you know about a store called peachy cheap. They are always having special sales on all sorts of things, but every once in a while they have a sale on puffy heart stickers. When they have the sale it’s five different sheets of heart stickers for $13.99. I just received mine and was very happy with these heart stickers! The reason I’m telling you about them is because they had a lot of colors that you seem to love. Just thought I’d let you know. Thanks so much for all that you do and all the inspiration! 😊💙💛💚👍🏼

I sometimes watch TV (like the olympics) but not anything I have to really pay attention to. I also will play an audio book - I can listen while I'm focused looking down.

I have a zoom group that meets up several times a week. I also watch youtube plus listen to Libby books from my library. But sometimes I have some old DVDs that I can play on my computer also. But sometimes I work quietly.

Melanie, this is such a cute layout! I love the cut file that you chose to do with this picture of the yummy ice cream that you got at Disney. I think all of the embellishments look great!! The only thing that I would possibly add to this layout is a little bit more color to the cut file. I don’t know if you have Copic markers or what a color pens? But I think if you filled in the ice cream cones a little bit more it would make the ice cream cones and Popsicles Look more finished. Very rarely do I give my opinion or advice to you or anyone else about their layout because we all have our own way of creating and you always do such a fabulous job on your layouts! But after you put the cut file down and I realized you weren’t going to add a little bit more color to it, I kept saying to you through the video “add more color add more color.” I hope you just take this as a friendly second opinion. I am not by any means criticizing you on this layout because it is pretty. And you did say that you would’ve added more color yourself. Thanks so much for sharing, I really really look forward to your videos! There are two other girls besides you that do fun layouts that I look forward to, and when you guys don’t post a video, it’s kind of a bummer! I am looking forward to the fall because I know you will have more time to do more videos then! 😊 I don’t think to❤️🩵💛🖤🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦PS maybe if you got the yellow ink out and Ink smooshed it onto plastic packaging and used a watercolor brush, you could fill in the cones. Then you could ink smoosh the other colors to add more color to the popsicles and ice cream with a watercolor brush? 😀🩵🩷💛👍🏼

I don't have this collection, but I bought several 49 and market papers and embellishments last spring, and can't wait to use them. I'm watching your video to get ideas. I did get some from their travel collection, so it has a lot of elements similar to this one. Your layout looks great!
