I'm glad I found your channel! We are in similar situations, being new to the game. So it's fun to see another person's journey. I started playing yesterday, and wow, the game is refreshing. We have 10+ years of the game to enjoy, so we have definitely have something to look forward to.

the first game i have enjoyed playing other the OSRS in about 10 years. brilliantly relaxing / grinding at the same time.

I was the exact same. Didnt bother with it, until week 3, and I loved every moment. Really missed those GTA-ish open world moments, like riding down the road, blasting your radio. Coming across buildings and exploring them, etc. All the while building your home, and taking care of your little friends.

After hitting level 50 and you have some days left of the weekly season thing, you can do gold prospecting, which is wonderful and relaxing, min max youre house with power supplies and oil refinerys, do prime wars with the rest of the server and social stuff like hanging out at peoples bases and running silos in 4 man crews. Besides that I also like growing and mutating plants and seeing the different ones that appear and running a succsessful shop in Tall Grass.

pvp servers offer more fun. and pvp is optional. I'd suggest you switch.

"Why not a PTS first" why do you need a PTS to know you have to start from scratch, invest all this time (almost all games are a grind these days it's like a second job that you dont even get paid for), and your character will be wiped? most people don't have time for that because they also have to grind a lot of other games

if the devs really wanted to pander to big content creators they would have fixed the many bugs in the game by now. things you said you don't like, summit and descent, for years now are topics of content creators with suggestions like more xp and checkpoints. off-world content like kenly college, manning and pentagon also have been a topic of content creators for years because of the wasted potential. as for heartland, the only content creator who said positive things about it was roguegold, who doesn't seem capable of saying anything negative about the game. unfortunately, you guys who were excited to do seasonal characters have to accept that you're the minority

if the devs really listen players we already have by now survival and all the map is a dz with pve only option... and more stach space, massive is a bunch of liars. the season char is a mistake, but if someone likes the ideia of starting from zero can always delete one char and create a new one every whatever... I BET DEVS ONLY WANTED TO DO THAT BS SEASON CHAR SO THE PLAYERS DONT HAVE A MORE CONVINIENT WAY TO FARM SHDs ... they could NOT create a new charater slot when hardcore mod was released, but now they can...ffs...

Example: Kamikaze von Doom made a bunch of videos complaining about seasonal characters, then today he's like "wait now this means no 5th character spot, no 2nd hardcore, no 2nd stash, so what are we getting?" Yeah, nothing because y'all complained!

Yep!! In the last few days I have played with a few 10k+ shd players playing on challenging or hard just so they can blow through the dailies/weeklies

Every bigger content creator I watched other than Rogue Gold made videos against it. And the Reddit was loud against it.

decents problem is its all RNG when the idea was to test players, but you can't test out things when everything is based on random gear and weapons its good idea if they made npc drop gear so you can pick a choose but then now would defeat the purpose of seasonal characters lol classified missions were amazing at the start and great for story development. Why they didn't grow and develop upon that makes no sense. Countdown is great for just the one thing you said gear, and that's it Summit was fun for a while, but gear for some reason feels like 1 its trash gear and 2 not nearly enough gear drops anymore. That's worth your time. It's sad where the game is going right now. Player retention is going to be tested to the max in the coming season.

Wait and see? Sure, when you're a SUPER casual 1,700 SHD level kind of guy in and out of the game that just barely finished the SHD watch. But for all of the vets that have thousands and thousands of hours, this is a bad move. Myself at almost 7,000 hours and well over 30,000 SHD, the core players that kept this game alive are not down with stroking the devs over this garbage coming. All the casuals don't mind because they don't have much invested. Hell, they barely just got their SHD watch done and haven't even finished the expertise bench. Sheesh - just think about that. Look at all these content creator's SHD level. It's a joke. They keep the hype because it's their passive income, game-base following, etc. They have vested interest to keep viewers locked into the game and watching their "content." The fact that most all of the real player-base community that have actual investment in the game are on fire about this is a clear indication this is the wrong direction but they continue to double down on it. I am in a top leaderboard clan, actually one of the #1 clans for 5 years running. Our clan name was on one of the flags in the Clan section areas for many, many years. A spotlight clan. To see basically ALL of the clan delete the game and no one even logs in anymore because of the direction we are headed... that is sad. This game is dead as hell, but we all still continued because we love the game. But when you take massive grind of 4 characters completely min/max, max expertise and throw all of that away, there is a bigger problem that only the casuals don't see. If you actually fell in love with Division 2, were a core player for 6 years and achieved top leaderboard heights with thousands of hours invested, to watch this game from afar burning down dead, you might have a completely different opinion considering your investment. Usually those who have deep investments speak out to protect their investment. It's the only way the community can protect itself is by getting fired up and talking/standing their ground to stop this experimental bullshit. THIS ISN'T DIABLO! This is 6 years later of Division 2. How do people not understand this? This is crazy amounts of hours acquiring, building, maxing, 25+ levels of expertise which clearly people like you haven't even truly unlocked yet. I don't think this will end well. The only people that will "win" will be the new kiddies and the NothinButShillz content creators. The heart of the community and the crowd that actually kept the game alive from a couple years ago when things were not going well will be gone. And honestly, if the devs continue to double down, I hope to see them get what they deserve. They are clearly defining that direction where it will end with their intentions. I think Division 3 will fall flat if they do this.

I haven't played division 2 in almost 1year 1/5,only season I played was 1 ,I should play again but I work alot and just haven't been playing, but all the people I use to play with don't play it anymore .

Randomly bought both on Amazon one day because under $30 still playing 1dt one sooo good non stop action all day 🤌
