The necessity of bus bar protection is explained, as are considerations for bus bar properties, then several bus bar protection schemes: high-impedance, linear couplers, interlocking, over-current/unrestrained differential, percent differential, and low-impedance microprocessor-based bus bar protection.
Great explanation of the elements of distribution protections! The differential current protection explanations are especially helpful. The ways to prepare the percent differential graph provide the understanding I need for reading papers on differential relaying.
