They were the best crayons on the 96 pack when I first brought it on target. but now i lost my first 96 pack with the gel fx and metallic fx (in the past) and i got a 2nd one from target they don't have the gel fx and metallic fx i got the bold and bright crayons Rested in peace gel fx (2001-2022?) and metallic fx (2000-2022?) we'll never forget about these crayons just like dandelion.

I bought the 12 pencils package and it was not really good. Am not saying they don't do the job, but had to repaint over and over again because they are not great for shading or making contrast in a drawing. I saw another pair, rounded pencils, that costed 3 times more. I believe that is the pencils worth buying. These are a pain, but are ok for children drawings or for low budget starting out.

Your box design elements indicate 1985-1988 But the wrappers on the crayons are of the type used in the USA from the mid 60s to the mid 70s. Most likely, The Philippines was behind in updating their label making equipment. Or were possibly filling boxes with old stock crayons. Also possible that Crayola adopted new design elements in the Philippines early.

You are right about the local production of Crayola being no longer operational. It may be due to three factors: 1. The president of Crayola in Easton, PA, USA was changed in January of 2019 (I only heard of this from a friend) 2. The requirement to renew production license may no longer have been feasible for AMSPEC. One of such requirements was definitely to drop Dandelion in favor of Bluetiful; but since they cant produce Bluetiful locally, AMSPEC just went with importing stocks from the US at the advent of the pandemic. 3. The COVID-19 Pandemic. Many factories had to drop employees. That plus the requirement to make Bluetiful, AMSPEC just cant keep up anymore. COVID might have been the straw that broke the camel’s back. The AMSPEC-imported US Crayola products started appearing en masse during mid-2019s to early 2020. Prior to that, a private company that owns the Ogalala Store are the only ones bringing in stocks to posh stores like Rustans.

Hello there! Im trying to chronicle the history of Crayola in the Philippines and I would like to ask a few questions. Starting with: Are the three styles of 64s boxes you showed all of the 64s from the 1990s-prePandemic 2019 or there are a few others? Thank you very much in advance. Also, thank you for this video.
