You should lay one of the corner blocks on 2 sides the other way to allow for some airflow from the bottom, it'll help reduce the lingering smoke. All in all looks good

vinegar (or fabric softener) and water is an old wives tail..... use warm water with some washing up liquid, the soap makes the water stick and soak in. it also will help clean down the wall too.

Sorry but I think it's ugly. Dark and uninviting, would've definitely painted differently.

We are closing on a 1973 house tomorrow and it has hidden access to the crawl space inside a built in cabinet and a hidden tunnel between two closets. Whoever owned it was paranoid and has wooden boards over every door for extra security. We can’t wait to see what else we find.
