Speaker Reducers for Chopped Bar Lowers for Harley Road Glide
For those that think an 8” speaker is too big, either turn the volume down (lol) or pop in a reducer that will let you keep the 8” setup but install a 6.5” speaker. That way, if you ever change your mind or sell your bike, the mounting holes are right there behind the reducer. This is for the chopped bar lowers on the Harley Davidson Road Glide or Street Glide.

These are for those bikers who want maximum weather and debris protection plus have the advantage of extra light at night. This is an example of an unpainted lower fairing for the chopped bar on the Harley Davidson Road Glide or Street Glide. This lower has a cover that makes it a locking glove box but can easily be converted to hold an 8” or 6.5” speaker later.

Check out the newest perfected lowers that fit the Chopped bar on the Harley Davidson Road Glide. These lowers will take an 8” speaker or you can get a step down ring to fit a 6.5” speaker. If you don’t want speakers, you can get a locking cabinet cover which will be detailed in my next video, which will be more comprehensive on these lowers. These will handle chin lowers and at least a 21” wheel.

You can see a large part as well as a small one that I print with a big 3D printer and then hand finish with a 150 grit sander. I honestly had no idea people are printing right off of aluminum. Such a porous material. I can only imagine what is still in there from over the years. Welding aluminum can be a real PITA sometimes just because it's been soaking up some filth.

We just found one of these in the trash and pulled it out. I was able to home the x and y axis. All of the z axis screws are missing their belts. The question is, does the z axis have a limit switch, i didn't see one on the machine
There is not a Z limit switch on any of the Modix machines other than homing. Your software is where you put in the dimensions.

Yes, you can run 6.5” or 8” speakers. You can clearly hear my Euphorias in the video and I replaced the stock Rockford Fosgates with Euphorias as well.

how did you get rid of the 3dprint edges and the nice paint job ? It looks like you eliminated all the ridges.

Yes, that is all on the website www.hogcreations.com- however, make sure to read notes on paint. While painting can be done, if there is a question on heavy breathers or other big add ons, you really should get a set and try them on first before having them painted.

Is there enough clerance for the Heavy Breather air cleaner?
There is room for the stock breather in the video.
The HD Heavy Breather is NOT stock on the 2023.5/ 2024 CVO. It is curved (elbow) similar to the air cleaner on the 2024 CVO ST.
So I guess you are saying the lowers won't clear.
@@Jedi_Obi-Wanthat’s not what I’m saying. The ones you see in the video fit the stock breather on that bike. You would need to look at the video and the distance to see if it may work. Or get a set and check it. If it doesn’t quite clear, there are 3 other versions of lowers for the chopped bar, 2 of which should clear. Lastly, I can custom make something for someone if they want.
