Great idea to set them up on that rock, looks like a scene from the Guns Of Navarone! Incidentally you can also crew these 88's with the BMC Army Women, possibly in gray or purple, since in real life girls from the Hitler Youth often did man these guns. This was especially true towards the end of the war, when the Russians were closing in, women and girls could often be seen manning both searchlights and flak artillery on rooftops.

Nice review. The set seems sold out now. Hopefully BMC will make more. German 88mm artillery originally designed as flak anti-aircraft guns, the Germans discovered the 88s made very effective anti-tank guns too.

Nice video! Matchbox used to make military vehicles including British armored cars back in the day, but for some reason they stopped doing that. Don't know why--lack of sales? Anyway glad to see Jeff Imel at BMC bucking the trend by bringing these great classic toys from the past BACK TO LIFE! " QUALITY NEVER GOES OUT OF STYLE"!

This toy is based on the M3 Howitzer, which had a 10-man crew and a large army truck to tow it from place to place. Despite its small size it was QUITE powerful and could blow a hole right through the side of a tank. Had a range of 3 miles or more, and this gun could also be adjusted to fire in a straight line directly at targets, just like any ordinary cannon.

I got that figure which is actually a repaint of the original one so that’s why it doesn’t have a comic or face hugger but mine smelled like spray paint bringing out of the packaging is that a chemical in the paint that makes you lose brain cells I don’t know someone please tell me if it’s dangerous

Nice accessory set. Incidentally those "Spike Barricades" originated in France and were called "Cheval-De-Freis" or some such. They were primarily designed to stop CAVALRY charges, not infantry. Overall these fence pieces can come in handy for lots of scenarios; a peaceful western ranch, battlefield or headquarters layouts, and even a prisoner-of-war camp like we used to see on "Hogan's Heroes"!

Over the weekend I purchased a ziplock bag of old army men and upon digging through the bag I saw the Burger King logo and immediately looked them up. I got all 4, with a total of 6 of them. Paid 50 cents!
