    The ultra low MOI clutch and flywheel makes closed loop tuning of the EFI much more critical. The EFI needs to be tuned properly under all part throttle conditions, before taking the car to the track and running at WOT or there can be massive trailer hitching. A large, heavy flywheel and clutch will band aid this problem as they add lots of rotational inertia to the engine, lowing the oscillation frequency of the trailer hitching.

    Exactly, Big Red Camaro will run for 90 miles, top fuel only runs 1000 feet. No way would that nitro hemi last for 90 miles.

    @6:17 lot of twist on that rear axle/differential. Almost looks like it's missing it's upper links of a 4 point suspension. I can see the dampener at the top of the pumpkin but, being hydraulic instead of solid, it's got a lot of play. Can't be good for the U joints.

    I lay down the stripes first, then the body color. When you color sand, it all becomes even layer instead of having a lip on the stripes you can see @4:25. Although that's really for show cars. For Big Red the way they did it was fine. That powder coating for the firewall, roll cage, and floor was simply beautiful. I keep looking to see where they ran the cage through the rockers (rather set the body down onto the cage into the rockers) but I can't quire see it. A close up would be appreciated.

    I was at Speedweek 2024 this year. It was a great year. The salt was really hard. Lots of records were made. The last couple two or three years it’s been pretty rough with rain and poor conditions. I’m happy to finally see. They got a good event this year.
