The guy who plays the lead looks like a young Phillip Seymour Hoffman (RIP). Could they be related? I saw this guy in another movie, 'Criminal' (Starring some Irish name, O'reilly something or other?), he played a completely different character. He's a good actor. Too lazy to check. Who the hell is he?

This was a good movie! A story about, in my opinion, the biggest bank robbery of the twentieth century combined with a story of an addiction's worst case scenerio, an addiction going from bad to worse!! And Philip Seymore Hoffman was the right choice for this role! You watch him go between a criminal mastermind/professional bank robber to a loser head junky.

At 5:37 she tells him how grateful she is, then literally two seconds later she shows how grateful she is by insulting him: "One of these days, I'm going to take you out and get you a decent suit."

Ironic because Baldwin was on cocaine in the 80s when he started acting and almost died from an overdose but quit after that. And also personally I think Joe Biden is on cocaine now because he’s old and senile and stupid now. I think he’d flunk the piss test like one of the football players in this scene.

I love that moment at 1:12 -- in response to Pullman's question, Baldwin stares back at him coldly for a moment, chews his ice with his mouth open (like a fairy-tale ogre gnawing on its victims' bones), then pretends to laugh it off. While not quite on the same level of artistry, this has a little of the unnerving, joking-but-not-really-joking quality of Joe Pesci's "you think I'm funny?" scene from "GoodFellas."
