    I have to have a test next week that just utterly freaks me out and sends my mind headlong into a dark and horrible place. I can't sleep and my life just seems to have come to a standstill and I am imaging the most horrible outcome imaginable. Thanks for this advice.

      I'm where you were now. I have another 10 days of this by the time I get my results and I've resorted to alcohol after doing well for a few days. Having such a bad time. I hope you're well now.

    For me, there are days i feel i need to fight the fight, because i haven't received the greatest healthcare until now, that changed when i switched doctors and fired my previous ones. There are some days i accept my situation and disease better than others. I am newly diagnosed with sarcoidosis, still in work up, so i am also experiencing grief as well

    So true, fast, cleanse, exercise...on and on useless advice. There are days i can barely get off the couch!

    Thanks for validating what ive been feeling. Others close to me are more distant at times. I feel abandoned but i understand its also difficult for them. The new me doesn't resemble the former me
