I like that you have discussions about the reality of the situation. Regarding people "holding until phone numbers". I'm of 2 minds. One, I think its unrealistic to think people will hold through that type of money. Even if people are being genuine, the pressure to sell is beyond what any of us can imagine or predict future acts on. But, I also truly believe many people invested in GME holding through the madness of the past 4 years are not cut of the same cloth as the typical investor. So I think ignoring external forces, which you rightfully bring up, it could squeez to very high numbers.

If I think of MOASS, I always end up thinking about what DFVs endgame might be? He already was a millionaire, billionaire and did not cash out ... I have got 2 piles, one I will never sell until market revolution and the other to see if stupid me is able to make some money out of it and both are growing... Sidenote, imagine how rich RC and all the others would be, also institutions... Its more likely whenever big volume hits, usually with big price improvement, gme is going to dilute more, they havent even sold half that 1 billion... Or all those phantom shares are going to be force settled somehow and Gamestop gets force diluted but also all the cash 🤷🏼‍♀️ (another kind of MOASS)

We are pretty sure RK did know. He worked for a financial institution remember, he had a license to see the data on those swaps. He even has some tweets around the time he was initially expecting the sneeze to kick off, and then tweeted again when they delayed the sneeze using a holiday deferral. We've seen them do that again since. There is lots of little excuses they can use to delay forced buy ins. Makes it hard to predict the runs.

Personally I have a number in mind based on my position size and goals: enough to pay off my house, put my kids through college, and quit my job because I'm earning enough from dividends to maintain my current lifestyle. I'll also keep some shares that I'll never sell just in case the gmefloor people end up being correct ;)

Richard, did you see the fractional shares that got filled for a little over $5k pre-split in 2021 on those robinhood fills? $500+ has aready happened! (would be around $1xxx post-split prices)

IMO, I think MOASS is when the entire system fails, corruption is exposed, criminals are punished and the money changes hands to the lower/middle class

I expect GME to become the most valuable company in the world the way VW did. ~8k would put us there but I think it will rocket past that based on shorts doubling down, nobody selling, DRS etc.

I'm reminded of the post by the Ape who cashed out to send his father halfway round the globe to visit family before he died. That was HIS moon, his MOASS. What the moon looks like for each of us is different. Number of shares, cost basis, current life situation, they're all part of the dynamic and no one ought to tell anyone else where they should be "content".

Hey richard im sorry but MOASS is mother of all short squeezes so is not subjective and the main compairison is the VW so for MOAsS to be GME would have to become the the most valuable company in the world by market cap even if is just for a day. Otherwiae is just a squeeze.

I love your videos, Richard! Thanks for the time you put into them. The only individual stock I own outside of GME is MVIS (been on it for 15 years)- including the squeeze a few years ago, the chart has been eerily similar to GME. I’m not sure if it might be a company that would help you on your investigative journey. In my opinion, it’s certainly a piece of the puzzle and connected somehow to GME. I’m not great at the technical analysis and overall comparison; I’ve only looked strictly at price movement of a few different spikes.

MOASS for me: is the end of the old world. We live on a planet where most ocean life will die off in the next 30 years, storms will become a constant inhibitor to infrastructure repair, and uncontrollable wildfires caused by global warming will devastate our atmosphere and forests. There are projects to counter some of these effects but they are not at the scale they need to be to prevent the current die-off. We may be among the last few generations capable of living on this planet. MOASS is my generation (GENZ) realizing that it's up to them and nobody else. MOASS is my generation killing the system that's killing our world. MOASS is the great reset and the 100+ year gold age after. MOASS is not a figure to me. It's not a payout, its not a reward, its THE event. It's the thing we feel when we do something wrong, learn, and start again... doing it right. We'll look back to the MOASS and say "thank god for that".

There is precedent for short squeezes resulting in a company becoming the most valuable in the world for a brief period. For GME to be the most valuable company in the world it would have to achieve a share price a little more than $10,000.

Key to The Infinity Squeeze thesis (this was the original name of a theoretical MOASS): It is highly probable that the number of GME shares shorted is FAR OVER the total outstanding GME shares, by such a magnitude, that even though Cohen and the Board have diluted, and may choose to dilute to the total authorized issuance (1Billy), that when/if margin calls come and the REAL number of borrowed / phantom GME shares MUST be closed, they won't be able to close -- because there simply aren't enough shares to do so. In such a scenario, even if EVERYONE'S version of MOASS were different and met, the outstanding shorts STILL WOULD NOT be able to close...This is what I believe to be the reason why RK made the meme on Nov 5, 2020: "In an infinity squeeze, no one can hear you scream," and Cohen then fairly soon thereafter posted an emoji of... "I scream" Will it happen? Who knows. But if I told you that 10X the entire float was shorted, would that really seem so far fetched? I look at it this way. MOASS means: Mother of All Short Squeezes We saw VW Squeeze in 2008. It became the most valuable company in the world. At $370 Billion in 2008; that’s $866/share GME. Since then, companies are much more valuable, and there is more liquidity in the market than ever. Look at Tesla, currently at $677B. That is just over $1,500/ share GME. I think it is entirely plausible number, and it would not break the system, as there are companies worth much more than that. Tesla isn’t even in the top 10 largest market cap.

At the very least it would have to rise above the 2021 price, but generally stocks sell off following a distribution curve. They key isn’t the ending price, but the threshold past which the machines take over and liquidate short positions and derivatives.

The market is so fake! One big SCAM. Its amazing that Gary Gensler has the gaul to show his face in public aware of the fact that his entire market is all fraud. They send all big buy orders to the dark pools to suppress price, then have limitless sell pressure via naked shorting to keep the price down elsewhere. Its all make believe. There is absolutely no fair supply and demand. The price is manipulated completely. All the stock market does it take money from the retail population to line the pockets of the banks/thieves. That is it! The evidence is clear too. Look at MMTLP - a crime scene frozen in time. GME is no different. The SEC makes all the data hard or impossible for retail investors to access in a timely manner (even though they have it all in real time for the insiders) - its set up that way so that they can manipulate the market and cover their trail. Its the biggest financial crime in history. The market is controlled, regulated and run by the same criminal banks/brokerages/market makers who commit the crime. It is beyond ridiculous!

What happened earlier this year when the stock was mooning? GS sold shares into it.. and in my view is in a substantially better position for having done so (as evidenced by the closure of their credit facility, for one thing) and I would argue that this value extends to shareholders. So why wouldn’t they keep doing that whenever GME starts to moon for as long as they can? Even when they run out of shares to issue they can put it up for a shareholder vote and, realistically, if the board recommends it then it will pass. So the company could reap cycle after cycle of squeeze activity until that pressure finally goes away. And you could argue that they are obligated to do so as long as it increases shareholder value. All that being said, I’d be over the moon if the company did this prudently. Happy to hold a company like that forever. Happy for a “traditional” MOASS too, but I ask you: which scenario sounds like the more likely one?

I read "Naked, Short and Greedy" and was grateful for the black pill realigment. IMO, the video could have been better with a "repeated buy high, sell low" version of moass. This seemed like an attainable one for me months ago, but that hope is fading. 50x is kinda the stretch goal that I do my calculations around. They successfully took significant highs and lows away from us - like everything else. When you talked about the issued shares a while back, you introduced the idea that the gains of trades actually either go to the bad guys or the good guys. Issuing shares just made sure money was not taken off the table by the wrong side. This is pretty much the foundation of my mental model right now. I hope this is one huge poker session and our heroes win big. While I feel it is naive to think that we are entitled to so much just because we bought one share, I think longer term the compounder scenario can be really compelling. One thing I don't know is how risky the investments that GameStop makes can legally be. Could they invest in derivatives with leverage? This is one thing that I would love to know more about. In any case, even such a scenario would be extremely frustrating for me if it plays out like the housing crisis. People need to be held accountable and the regulatory crisis that Dr. T. keeps pointing out has to be resolved through changes to the financial system. If the wolves continue regulating each other I will not be happy with the outcome. I fear storylines have to cross for that to happen, though ... and I don't think Trump is the answer ... so I am pretty pessimistic right now.
