This is EXACTLY how I feel about BJJ. BJJ only works with the element of surprise. If you go into every fight with the assumption that your opponent is a BJJ master, and all he wants to do is sniff your crotch, then you have reduced the efficacy of BJJ by a significant percentage. LOL

In BJJ strict rules it's alright, but man in a fight or MMA you have to go through a flow chart. Striking, Clench, Make Space, or, Striking, Clench, Takedown, BJJ, Striking, BJJ Striking. You have to be good at all that shit, not just one part.

What happens when you can't stand up? Life isn't the same for everyone we are all not juiced up ex mma fighters. Some if us have to deal with stronger, bigger people on top of us.
