Does the site builder allow to customize the "Search" pages? I'm trying to customize the look of that page when using a Custom Post Type like you did with Books but when I perform a search my Site builder archive layout just shows ALL the results in the loop builder block. I'm not sure how to customize the search pages. Do you?

Great tutorial, as always! Is there a walkthrough for doing the same but for visitor-submitted content that would be moderated and then published on the site? Is it possible (with maybe beginner developer skills) with Meta Box? I'm thinking of replacing Events Calendar frontend submission (Community Events) with Metabox frontend submission - the visitor (either a user or even logged-out visitor) on the front end can fill out a form which will become a custom post type with the status "draft" and then it could be published after being checked by the admin. Is this possible with Meta Box?

OMG i cant tell you how much this just revolutionized my subscription business - i sell investment advice via a payway subscriber model and use chart links as part of that and subscribers are constantly ripping me off by sharing links and bypassing my paywall. to manually go in and physically chage hundreds of pages... well there are days id rather just get ripped off... but now? Good content. This plugin update nightmare is one of the major downsides of WordPress compared to Webflow, Shopify, and Squarespace, where such issues are not even a concern. The same issue is for security regarding WordPress. Apple solved this for IOS decades back, yet WordPress seems stuck in the ruins of technology compared to the butter-smooth experience of its competitors.

Brilliant video, thanks Maybe you can help here: I created a CPT „Trainingvideos“ and added the 6 custom fields inside the CPT Editor. Now there will be more CPTs where we need the same fields. Question 1: can I add the same fields with the same Name/ID to the new CPTs? Or is it colliding in the database? Question 2: Since the client decides to have more CPTs with the same fields, can I transfer the fields in a Meta Box, without having to fill out all the fields again? (100 posts so far) Thanks for the help :)

Hello, thanks for your videos... Just wondering if you think that this product stands up to the competition in terms of what ACF Pro offers and Metabox offers. The price is attractive compared to the competition and I suppose that is because it is relatively new in comparison. I use Bricks and it has integration with that, if you know of anything it lacks or if you think it isn't as good, for any reason, would be good to hear. Once again thanks for your great educational materials!

Great tutorial. Question what was the outputted HTML code like in comparison to a page if it was made with Elementor? I'm looking to remove Elementor from my workflow to remove excess html bloat and this seems a good work around for simpler sites.

Good overview. The new UI still looks dated compared to Elementor and Bricks. Somehow I never liked the UI of Oxygen too. Louis can use some help in UI by looking at Bricks + Advanced Themer, which looks like a polished UI and joy to work with.

Thanks for the comparison! Another plus point in favour of Meta Box is that it can also be used to manage separate tables in a simplified manner. In addition, storage is generally more effective in Meta Box. Groups of data can be stored in a single table row, although I'm not sure whether this is also possible with ACF in order to create fewer table rows.

Meta Box is a more featured rich plugin than ACF. MB having the modular features allow for a slimmer, cleaner look. ACF, there new UI is not so nice in my view. MB is less impactful on your DB as to ACF as well. If you want advanced features with ACF, well you are coded them. With MB, they have the UI to allow for that -- which was way a head of ACF. Also, ACF just introduced Post Types, which MB has been doing way before. Meta Box has functionality when it comes to relationships. It also has a better experience when building custom Gutenberg Blocks. Not to mention, MB has Views, which again trumps ACF. But in the end it is up the user on what they prefer. I have used both and have found Meta Box much better -- plus at the time, the price point was way better then ACF and still is.

I have heard, but not confirmed, that ACF stores each custom field as 2 records in the DB. Metabox stores each custom field as 1 record. Impact is negligible when few records. Unknown at what point there is an impact.

MetaBox beats ACF on most things; they're falling behind with MB Blocks compared to ACF Blocks, which is keeping up with the WordPress Gutenberg updates. Although ACF is 4x larger, it's important to note that MetaBox's growth has been much faster over the past couple of years; they went from 300K active installs to 700K active in less than three years. ACF plateaued over that same period. Another important note is you can ship MetaBox inside your plugin, which is a popular way to use the plugin, and that does not count toward active installs. ACF also has this option, but their licensing is quite limiting, so I wonder if many folks are using it.

Thanks to your video, everything was solved. I struggled for a week to get it to go from full width to normal. I've been worrying for two weeks because the screen remained white even though I had loaded an image, thinking it was an error. It's all resolved. I'm surprised that JetThemeCore still has this problem.

How to delete the copied?

Very Buggie.... the 'change login url' breaks the login function of tutor lms and of woocommerce. The redirect 404 pages to home page breaks the email preview for both tutor lms and woocommerce. Security Optimizer will allow you to change your login url for admin without breaking anything so they should be able to fix this bug. I haven't looked for another 404 redirect plugin yet.
