Our God is a miracle working God.When i started my Sabbath keeping walk I was green to the faith as can be expected.A new acquaintance of mine who was imprisoned in a local prison not an adventist who i used to go visit during visiting time had some friends who were sending her adventist books which she didn't read but put them in my hand as gifts for my visits. I was not clued up at that time about adventism and didn't have any knowledge of how to walk the faith. I was pretty much broke at that time so i received those books with great appreciation.Steps to Christ was one of the books i received.I still have most of books after 14 years and they are a treasure to me. My friend is not an adventist as far as i know today.tx

"*Many* are the ways God is seeking to make *Himself* know to *us* and bring us into communication with Him." Brought me the realization of how diligently God wants me to communicate with Him. He seeks for me, I am the one who loses sight of Him.
Glad to hear from you guys much appreciated comments Here's a very important point let's not ever forget in our walk on narrow road as mother EGW saw in her first vision.God is building His church not corrupt men, we see all the onslaught on His church by mere mortals thinking they are above God.For young believers today it can really be very daunting to keep faith as our church goes through ridicule and called all kinds of names which is today a very big challenge. But remember guys there is nowhere else to go and fellowship Satan has his people in our Church's to take on Adventist covering only to leave and begin their lambasting of our church.Dont fear them as Isaiah 51:7 says we stand like our Lord stood because He was called names also, Don't be discouraged and leave the church hold fast to that which we have and we shall receive the crown of life Be blessed on this beautiful Sabbath day

My favorite part of this chapter is the fact Jesus never leaves us. No matter how many times we find ourselves distracted by the devils "attractions" Jesus is always there to gently draw us back to Him. We lose our sight of Him, but He never loses sight of us.

I’m so happy your channel found me. You do such a nice job. I especially like the part where you talk about churches saying to come as you are, but not making the appeal to people to let Jesus change them. We absolutely are not to stagnate. The purpose of church can be moving the people as a congregation and individually from glory to glory. I started studying the 12 steps in conjunction with steps to Christ. There is a recovery addition of steps to Christ and there is also a book called the 12 steps for Christians. I have spent 13 years in an addiction program that has been a great life changer for me and brought me to find God and also to go back to church. We are doing this program so we can learn how to help people grow in the steps through the actual church.

Thank you. I share these with my daughter. Tenderness is a foreign concept to both of us. Realizing that's how God loves us helps break the locks off of the protective walls we put around our hearts.
