Shotty is a hard rock noisy synthpop band that formed in Seattle. They were finalists in the EMP Sound Off! competition, and they worked with producers Martin Feveyear (Presidents of the United States of America) and Johnny Sangster (Mudhoney). Shotty has toured across the US, and recently relocated to Los Angeles. They are currently working with producer Norm Block (Plexi, Sweethead) on a series of EPs and demos released through Cautionary Tail Records.
Shotty continues to construct explosive garage pop, blending melodramatic rock riffs with whimsical nerd sparkle-angst. Using videogames, action figures, and comic book characters to add a colorful aesthetic to their music videos and online persona, shotty seeks to appeal to the inner child; sugar and tantrums notwithstanding.
